His ban is only temporary... he'll be back.

As for posting the PM, that's definitely a no-no. That's why they call it a PM, right MB-BOB.
Temporary "suspension" is more like it in this case, right?

After this happens as IS sucsessfull im going to be building a new airbox for better airflow....From a previous dyno I had with my car there was a 5HP increase with out the box.....zi figure if i can create my own box and get some sort of gain its worth it...Ill take w/e i can get.... oh.. and should i bring the pictures on this thread of the engine with the silencers? are we sure thats what they are?

Under the red circle that you highlighted I took a look in my car and noticed that the pipe that is under it had come disconnected from it, does that mean that in effect I had no air from the supercharger going into the engine?
Thanks

Did you get any more power out of it that way? I'd love to find a way to get the bypass to stay closed when ever the throttle is floored. Someone did an OBD dump and found that the Bypass was bleeding of boost at some points during accelleration.

You guys will just have to start experimenting. Simple stuff, like an overbored TB, free flow headers and a better intercooler are good places to start. Port matching all the connections in the intake, tB, intake manifold, etc is also a cheap, but labor intensive, way to get some more ponies.
Ultimately, any serious power boost to that motor is going to involve replacing the MP45 with something that has more huff. I don't see any easy way to spin it more, and MB likely designed the valvetrain to float beyond redline anyway. More displacement also doesn't seem possible, doesn't seem to be enough meat on the block...and as far as I know there's only one crank available for this motor...so no stroking is possible.

In the pic where eason supposedely removed the supercharger muffler, isn't it kinda unsafe for the engine now that it's all open, and there's no longer that air filter there? Usually they put those things for a reason, any one know of any possibilities of damage to the engine because of that?

Yeah, about that...I'd have kept the intake where it was. The closer you get to the ground the warmer it gets....even moving down the road.

Second. Eason did not remove the SC muffler, that' why he's wondering where it is.

E500, Viper, and other less-fun stuff
I can't believe you actually suspended him. What is this, high school? "BAD BENZ OWNER! BAD!" Petty moderators and their magic wands, I swear...
The original poster is a good friend of mine going back many years. I've seen this car go from the somewhat undewhelming stock appearance and setup when he first bought it (still a great deal at used prices, don't get me wrong), to the very cool ride he has made it today. It looks fantastic, it sounds good, and it packs a decent punch for what it is. Definitely a head-turner.
I've been on the Benz forums for about a year, and this place sorely needs people who actually know what they're talking about. To run him off just because he violated the Sacred Trust of a PM (oh no!) or made the grave error of (gasp!) mentioning his place of work is retarded with a capital Type-R.
Keep your fingers crossed that he bothers to return after the Principal's Office lets him back, he's one of those guys everybody with a C-class will be referring to when they start kicking around ideas for their own mods.

Jeeze you mods are horrible probably one of the best threads and you ban the guy. Would it have been that hard to "mod" his posts and delete the link instead of sending him a flamer pm. I mean isnt that what "moding" is? BTW c230k IS A NEON I HAVE PROOF
