Take it easy bro…
Yes, sometimes we yak about irreverent, personal minutia around here. I’ve personally met with and enjoyed spending time with rtking. Been to the races, some MBWorld meets, and bent an elbow with emrliquidlife. None of that could, or would, have ever taken place had it not been for the positive vibe that manifests from this forum.
They are both fine men, so kindly cut ‘em some slack.

I looked through this entire thread but didnt see any clear info on taking off of the supercharger resonator! I understand that the black intake part has to be removed that is on top of the supercharger, but does the supercharger itself have to be removed?
Id appreciate any help
EDIT: I found out that the supercharger manifold needs to be removed. Will be doing this tomorrow

I'll try to take a sound clip tomorrow. As for pics, I only took a couple, didn't take any detailed pics. But I can tell you that this task is definitely an easy DIY but it takes time

As for performance, I can't tell you since I actually forgot to tighten the Intercooler pipe, so its actually much slower right now

There should be a thread. It's on the part of the intake on the drivers side. If you look at the black pipe you'll see at one point there Is s sensor on one part of the pipe. You have to remove that part of the pipe. There's only clips to hold it. So you just have to take off the sensor and un clip it and it should come out as easy as that. You may have to disconnect the top part of the intake but that's really simpl. Its a really easy job

I got the maf screen out of mine today and found oild in the harness. Also pulled the muffler out of the sc manifold.
The rubber hose that goes into the valve cover was dry rotten and broke. I guess I need to order that now.

Did you have a CEL before you took out your maf? or was it still working? My maf needs to be replaced.
Yeah i had the same problem with that hose. It seems that its pretty common for that to crack with the heat.
How do you like the supercharger now?

The oil had already been leaking into the harness. I haven't driven the car yet since removing the screen and sc muffler.
How do you like yours? Did you notice much difference?

It definitely sounds a lot better. It does feel quicker too. I don't think it's just in my hea. Overall this is an easy DIY that I think is definitely worth doing. Makes the car more fun.

I just removed the silencer today and don't hear too much difference in my sound, maybe a bit louder?
next step is the pullie kit but I grudge paying the price

I took mine for a test drive today after removing sc muffler and maf screens. The check engine light is now on and the engine won't rev over 4000rpm sometimes. I hope it's just that the computer needs more time to recognize the change. Did anyone else experience this?

Remove the airbox cover and look into the black box. You'll see the wastegate solenoid, or recirculating flap. To reset it one person needs to hold it a little out of its original position while another person turns on the ignition for 15 seconds. Then turn the ignition on again for 45 seconds and that should be it.
