Blake P is right. If you weren't at fault they should cover all your mods. I got a light rear end a year ago and everything was covered. Even my quad exhaust was slightly scratched and because carlsson does not sell tips individually they covered the entire quad system. I cashed in the check of course.
You should get blackbenz's kleeman CLK55! 600+HP.
Whatever your choice good luck.
Glad you're okay!

Thanks guys. Not sure if its totaled or not at this point. I have to wait till the adjuster takes a look at the car. Picked up the police report this morning, which clearly states she is at fault.
And I just picked up my rental. Brand new chrysler 300 touring edition
1500 miles on the clock.

I am thinking about it. But at the same time, I have always wanted an E39 M5. We'll see. Maybe shes not totaled and I'll throw on the oem body and get a S/C

If your car is totalled they won't pay you the full amount of the mods. If they fix it then they probably will. Totalling the car applies the depreciation amount etc. Fixing it puts it back the way it was.
I looked at a Range Rover HSE and the dealer who had it stated the guy had it in the shop a ton so I shouldn't buy it.
P.S. My C55 is faster

My best friend has a 2003 M5 that he bought for the same mileage for 42K. It was loaded and mint. One thing about the M5 is that the sheer cost of ownership will make you sick. BMW is dropping their maintainance program for that car so if you're going to buy one make sure you get it soon.

As for the insurance, I have no clue. I got the police report this morning but wasn't able to fax it to my insurance company till later in the day. And the adjuster had just left. I am going to talk to the body shop tomorrow and see if they had a chance to look at it. And also test drive a few cars.

Hey, make sure to keep reciepts for all your expenses caused from the accident. (gas, mileage, rental, doctor bills, time you miss from work, etc...) you should be able to get 10x your expenses for pain and suffering.
