Carbon Fiber Hood Sale!!! $125!!!
I have my fingers crossed. Even if it's a blem, it's still a good price if you guys plan on painting it over..... don't forget that fitment might not be perfect and you will end up having a body shop do some work on it. I have seen a few erebuni hoods over the years and it's a hit or miss, depending on who made it for them. Let's hope this is a hit. Got my fingers crossed waiting
besides, erebuni stuff fits like **** 60% of the time, every time.
Thing is, it's the sedan only.
and besides, with it being sedan only, that made up my mind for me :-P
EDIT: you sure its sedan only? i dont see any footnotes on the side. curious if the sedan and coupe's original part #'s are the same.

If you look on that link for the sale and click on w203, there's a link at the bottom of the carbon fiber hood page that leads to aerodynamics. It only has sedan photos. Someone above said there's nothing for the coupes and I know for a fact the coupe hood is different than the sedan.

Oh well.
But it's in Sun Valley and there's no way I could've gotten all the way there without having to take 1/2 day, which I'd lose money for doing. Oh and it was apparently the only one left in Cali.
about the fitment, they said that they have a pretty good mold and they're a lot more strict about their CF products than the fiber glass ones. Only thing you need to do is "adjust" the hood when you put it on.
in the end...i didn't get it.

i'm not too sure how i feel about it right now....
i don't trust the fitment either.
) They brought up local pick-up to me because the wherehouse is in Los Angeles and it would've had to be picked up by 6:00pm today.Anyways, wasn't worth $335 for me. I've purchased from them before, but that was a spoiler for my MX-6, which was perfect fit. Hoods are a different story. I'd rather not f' around with hood fitment issues.
