both came with 83mm tips --just had to order it-- Most of these imported were race, and not sport (at least all who bought them when they first came out that i knew of ordered the race)

why spend 800 new for a silent SS box???

From what I recall, didn't they used to have 2 sports and 1 race?

And from what I also recall, the sport version in the middle sounded the best. The race was too loud and had tendancies to get raspy and the lower sport version was too quite (almost OEM-like).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong though. I could've sworn this was the case 3 years back when I was looking at the exhaust systems available.

you're right. they had the sport, hi-perf, and the race. then they got rid of the sport and changed the name of the hi-perf. to sport.
