i posted this in the 35mpg thread but realize it's more relevant here:
drove from boston to nyc last night, 200 miles. MPG peeked at 27.3 (with cruise control). in the end 26.8 miles per gallon (cruise control on for about 25% of the way)... ESP off the whole ride.
drove back from nyc to boston, 100 miles with ESP off, 100 miles with ESP on. MPG about the same. I thought they would be different. With ESP, MPG peaked at 27.7.

What you guys milage for a full tank of gas??
Ok, for my coupe, one full tank of gas i could go(max) is about 310miles(it really reach the bottom...
i use to go further than that, i am thinking is the gas company cheating or not, so i want to know how about you guys? I drive in City around San Jose area....

3.2L V6... Almost invariable 340-350 miles. Average speed 30 mph, on about 11:45-12:20 hours of operation.
With a completely full tank, the miles to empty indicator starts at 400-405 miles for the 3.2L V6.

. But now I get about 350-400 driving on the freeways. I also push the car pretty hard sometimes :v

some time my car get only like 280, that mades me think that did the gas station cheated heat up the gas..... coz everytime i filled up my car i hear something boiling... or my car is drainning the fuel up.....
try guys, after filling your car put your ear right next to it, u will here some noise....

I always fill up early in the moring and I do not think that they heat the gas up( its not black oil and not refined cooking oil), you might be hearing the air moving around (bubbles). Buttt the gas tanks are underground and much cooler than outside temp.It might be the way you drive it all depends on the person and where they drive(traffic/freeway) and type of gas you fill up with Go Gas or shell as examples ( makes a diffrence).I might be wrong and I could be corrected on the heating of gas but I never heard of it and looked it up online and nothin.
