So why did you list them as Xpel when they're Lamin-X?

Potential buyers - just be careful. The cleavage between the high and low beams is shaped so that eventually that part pulls away from the lens, and you end up getting dirt/moisture trapped in there, and it ends up looking awful.

Though I'm sure it would look good on your car.

TOMMY...

You obvioisly installed the film without letting it get tacky before you drove it. Heat gun or hair drier on low will help get the film to the curing process quicker. Then it sticks very well. Many people have installed this successfully. I let it sit for 18 hours just to be sure before I drove mine. And you can't even tell I have it on.

The film will conform to the shape of the headlights. Installation instructions included.

BENSITTO...

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Not sure how you'd know about my situation.

I had it professionally installed by an X-Pel distributor, along with their front-end kit. It really looked like sh*t after about 2 1/2 years. YMMV - don't shoot the messenger.

I've had mine on for 4 years. Installed it myself, still looks as clear as when it was installed. (i was a professionsl window tinter for 5 years during the college years, and application is very similar.) Installation on the headlights and fogs took 45 minutes including getting it to stick between the main beam & hi-beam.

Maybe XPEL's film is not as flexible as LAMINX.

Sorry about all your probs. Thanks for your concerns.

I think it's well worth the $ over having to replace a bi-xenon headlight for almost $1k.

Same here. 5 years and no problems.

I've had headlight film on the past three cars and also on my current and have had ZERO issues, even with Curved lenses. Sounds like someone had bad product or bad installation.
