Went out for dinner last nite at restaurant in NJ on route 1, and in the parking area were three C230 coupes and they were all..... orion blue! Now go figure. The lot wasnt that large so it was funny seeing them dispersed through the other cars. As rare as I thought that color is, I did not expect to see two and certainly not three of the same color in one lot. Looks like Orion is a hot color after all.

EVERY C-coupe catches my eye and I have yet to see an Orion coupe on the street in the SF Bay area/northern Cal. Silver seems to be the color of choice although I've seen just about everything else including citron & paprika.

My salesman there said they have a few coupes in ... and the overwhelmingly requested color was Orion Blue! Go figure.

I was watching some German Touring Car action on Speedvision over the weekend. The races were from the season finale - I noticed that the Eschmann-Stahl AMG Mercedes team cars, which won both races, appeared to be painted Orion blue (little hard to tell though). My count for Coupe colors encountered in the SF Bay Area is 2 silver, 2 black and 1 Orion blue. Personally I have been somewhat surprised that I haven't seen more - since normally this part of the country is pretty car crazy. However, I fully expect to see them in droves once mine arrives (about six weeks from now).

Yeah, they are still very rare overall. I just saw one in Arlington, VA last weekend - a silver one with 30 day tags. I feel bad. He beeped and I gave him the "what are you beeping at you idiot" look. I followed it up with a smile and a wave though I don't know if he saw it.

I spent the last week in Las Vegas didn't see one coupe on the road. Came through So Cal back to No Cal and only saw another black one like mine here in Monterey area.

Very rare indeed.

I think I've seen two C-Coupes in the past few months, and then this morning on the way to work (about a 15 min drive), I see two more of them. First one was Orion Blue, and the second was Silver. This one had the C7 package too. I really liked the rims and tires. Both cars did not have the panoramic roof though.

I ordered my C230 in August. Black, C5,C7, auto. I never saw one on the road till about two weeks ago, when I saw two on one day, silver and Orion. Then this weekend I saw another silver at the gas station, no pana roof, cloth. The owner said she had to wait three months for it. I am getting mine around 1/26.... Can't wait!!

There really won't be that many on the road, so I don't think that we should be too worried.

I've seen a grand total of 2 here since October (when I ordered mine) - one Black & one Brilliant Silver. Come to think of it, I've only seen two other W203s on the road (a C240 and a C32). The sedans are very nice looking, especially in dark colors.

Margo, You must be excited! I also ordered a Black with C5, and C7, but mine was the 6 speed. I ordered it in October, and it was supposed to be finished in Jan. When I found out in December that it got pushed back to a March delivery, I ended up getting the sedan (C320) instead. I wish that I could have waited, but it was getting difficult for my wife and I to get around with the one car. So tell me... what color interior did you get? I was going with the Charcoal. I thought it looked nice with the black exterior, but that was only in pictures (I've still yet to see a black one on the road). The dealer only had black with cloth.

I have seen quite a few in various colors. One came up in my rear view the other night, and when I pulled over he went blazin by before I realized it was a really nice black coupe. I tailed him for a few miles before I tired and just went on about my way. But I do see a lot of them now in NYC. No matter how many I see, they all still look great. Such a different style car in a city of large four door sedans.
