Yes, it is true that 2005+ gives you the ability to activate folding mirrors with lock/unlock function.
I don't know what else can be done on the 2005 that the 2001-2004 can't. I do know that early w203 models somehow loose functionality of the PANIC button when Netherlands is activated, however, I did not lose the PANIC sound when Steve activated my lock/unlock beeps.

I need a Right and Left Brake Pad Sensor Cable for my 2004 C230 Sedan.
Brake Pad Sensor Cable for a C32!
I am unable to locate these parts by doing any searches online because the only thing that shows up is the actual brake pad sensor!!!
I need the CABLE that the pad sensor plugs into which plugs into a port on the fender along with the ABS sensor cable. I do not need the small pad sensor itself! I'm at the point of total frustration with my searching.
I have found the similar part for several other years of Mercedes however, I cannot locate the part for MY vehicle!

Have you tried the salvage yards ,e.g. Pullapart and LKQ Pickyourpart, here in OKC? From time to time they have MBs, possibly your model and year. I have had pretty fair luck in sourcing parts for my VWs, and chevy PU for several years. I once sourced an interior driver's side door handle for my 2003 MB C240. Hope this helps.
