I'd take the top one over the stick-on...stick-on looks like crap

but the problem is that it doesn't come with the ashtray cover...

$299 for stick-on anything seems like a bit much, but it looks good in the pics...just my opinion

steve can get cf trim? i was under the impression the only place i could get the full replacements would be from performance products...any idea about how much steve charges for the full kit?

CF interior

SRT SIX over at crossfireforum.org does a lamination process where it looks like actual carbon fiber. You send him your trim pieces and he covers them. His work looks is very good and looks like real cf or wood. Here are some pics Might be the cheapest route. look him up if your interested

If you guys are looking for CF interior trim, there's a guy from the Audi side who does this. He takes OEM trim and wraps it in hi-qual real CF then protected with a high gloss resin. They come out looking great and look/feel like OEM at a fraction of the price.

www.carboncopydesigns.com

NOTE: I am not affiliated with his site, just passing the word along. I got my trim done by him. You can see the pics on the site, A4 with the platinum color interior (also the two pics shown on the main page).

going rate for a crossfire interior is $350 Im sure the MBs would be close to that for the center console its not much extra for doors pieces. Here are some new pics the red isn't my cup of tea but it looks pretty ligit. The black the pictures dont do it justice.

The first trim pieces will more than likely not be perfect fitment. So I wouldn't waste 500 on those...... the 2nd are overlays which is STEEP for 300. I would pass on both.

In regards to the link GDAWG posted: Sorry but 800 dollars to wrap CF is quite the ripoff IMHO. I have known a guy for a few years who does incredible FG work and he has wrapped a few pieces for me and I know he charges MUCH MUCH LESS. If you want wrapped CF, then DIY or shop around and find someone locally. It's not difficult to wrap the trim pieces in CF...... just takes some time and patience. I don't get why a lot of people on this forum want to "mod" but are scared to get their hands dirty . I was thinking about going the CF route a while back but going to go different. Robert sold me the extra set of stock aluminum trim pieces and planning on doing some FG work on them and having them painted . Haven't picked out color yet.... g/f says to go with "baller" red

Sometimes people are either lazy, don't want to look or just want the ease of getting the parts. I agree, $800 is a bit much but look at some of the OEM mods and the amount they cost. I didn't pay $800, I paid a little less than half that when they were first getting started with their business to promote their products. If I were to get it now, I'd think twice but since it was when they first started and a great price, I went for it.
