Seems his buy it now price is very high.

Also his price break down of $2128 seems over inflated.

Since the C7 package costs $750 with the tires, wheels, Color-keyed exterior door handles. Enlarged, polished stainless steel exhaust tip. 3-spoke sport steering wheel with raised thumbgrips. Leather-covered sport shift knob. Rubber-studded aluminum pedals. Patterned aluminum door sill appliqués.

i agree that guys' BUY IT NOW price is too high, but i don't agree ppl use C7 package to judge the price of those wheel. Of course C7 includes a lot of things, but it doesn't mean that those wheel should be as cheap as C7 price. Plus, C7 is only for upgrading factory 16 inch wheel to 17 inch wheel. Go ask your MB dealer how much is a factory 16 inch wheel and how much is a factory 17 inch wheel. See how many factory 16 inch wheel you can get for 750 and how many 17 inch wheel u can get for 750.

Correct! The $750 would be the difference between the stock 16" and the optional 17" (plus all the other options). I'm not saying that his price is good (I'm too lazy to look up the details), but you would have to compare his price to what you could go out and get those tires and wheels for now.

The upgrade kit may only cost $750, but that's Mercedes-Benz marginal cost on the upgrades. The difference in cost between the 17's and 16's is a few hundred dollars + the other little extras. Why does Mercedes charge so little, the upgrades enhance the vehicles appearance and increase resale value.
If you did not opt for the upgrade package... the wheels will cost you $1328, check mbusa.com The tires retail for a lot more than $800 new, I have found tirerack to be the least expensive.
Now, nboyd,
Why are you only taking my Buy it Now price into account? haven't you noticed the starting bid at $1, and this is a no reserve auction.

Yes the upgrade enhances the appearance but it may not be an automatic increase in resale value. In fact it could be a liability.
The C7 is useless in snow and tire wear is rapid. If your location requires you to purchase extra wheels and snow tires this adds to your cost. If you live in California or Florida this will not apply.
And don't shed any tears for MB charging so little. I can assure you that they are making plenty of profit on the C7 package.
