Daylight Savings Time?

I tried searching for this because I'm sure someone will tell me its already been answered, but I cannot find an answer.

Can the dealer update my car so that DST changes over at the correct time instead of being a week off?

Thanks.

If you recall, daylight savings time now starts and ends one week later (i think it's a week?) point is - clocks designed to self-adjust for DST before the law was changed do it too early now. I assume that my 05 has this problem - I bought it after DST so I have not had a chance to find out, but i'd bet on it.

I'm sure it's happened to others? Is there an update to fix it?

CA and US change DST at different times and different intervals AFAIK.

If that doesn't work, you can easily adjust the time by 1 hour through the settings menu using the steering controls

C - C-Class
230 - denotes engine size but it's not correct
K - Kompressor (supercharged)
SS - Sport Sedan

I don't believe DST changes are handled on the correct dates since the US changed when we switch over. You can turn off the automatic DST change and correct the time in your car manually.

I understand that. I was hoping MB would have an update the dealers could upload? I'm surprised there weren't a hundred threads about this back when DST switched over at a different week and everyones cars were incorrect.

Why is the U.S. the only country in the world (except some parts like AZ and HI) that feel they need to have daylight savings time adjustments? It's the stupidest thing Americans do along with hanging on to the english measurement system, at least there's one other country that does that. I would vote for a presidential candidate if getting rid of daylight savings time was his only platform.

Then we'll all be buying 43.18, 45.72, and 48.26cm rims

I agree though, the Imperial system is not as intuitive, and ask any engineering student (in Canada at least) what the first thing he/she does when thrown an Imperial problem.

And I love how British Imperial and American Imperial have their own variations.
