I am planning on getting Eibach lower springs, perhaps at Tire-rack.com at the same time when I am ordering the wheels. Does anyone have a place they can recommend to have the springs installed on the 03 C320? How much?
I prefer someone who already has experience at replacing the spring, specifically on the C-class sedans. That way when the do the installation they will know what they are doing.

or

a place that sell and installs the Eibachs springs
price? etc..

location: Southern, CA
(orange county)

Thanks.

TireRack is too expensive at $275 + shipping. Had mine installed (Eibach springs and labor) for $330 at www.d2technic.com over by Cal State LA. Ask for Dee. They did it while I waited in about 1 hour. Went to a little italian restaurant a block away that was terrific for lunch. Came back and it was done. Pay cash and there's no tax. They'll need a day or two to order them.

Are you supposed to get your wheel alignment done after the spring change?

A few people, including Eibach, Evosport and D2 Technic said that you don't need to get your wheels realigned after. I've had mine done about 6 weeks ago and no problems. I do have a coupon for an aligment at the dealer for $79 but D2 told me to wait about 2 months for the springs to settle if I really think I need an alignment.

Do you have pics?

Also, some people were complaining that the guys at d2 are rude and tried to rip them off. Is that your experience?

Several members have posted pix, try a quick search.

If you are worried about the rudeness at D2, remember there are other spring choices and shops to install them.

I chose Vogtland and installed them myself, I'm not rude

I didn't think they were rude, I thought they went out of their way to accomondate me. Took the car to them. Gave them the keys. Had lunch. Came back in an hour and they were done. Did the paperwork and payed them. Done! I let them know ahead of time that I didn't live in the area and couldn't just drop it off and they were very understanding. They had a bunch of Remus mufflers there but they actually recomended Supersprint, a less expensive brand (about $450 list vs. about $580 for Remus). It's a big place and I can see that not everyone there was as nice as Dee. It's also a very nice showroom. They have the new E320 as a decoration.

Nevermind. The website is d2technik.com, not d2technic.com.
