That is a sweet video bro, now you need to do it on the lynnway and you can put it with the other video you made about them pulling over the cars by the dozens...

Thanks for sharing that incredibly articulate rebut.
No thanks. I elect to continue to speak up against distracted operators. IMO, a driver has one priority. That is not: making videos; texting; chatting on the phone; cosmetic application; reading, or any activity other than safely piloting their motor vehicle.
IMO the two greatest risks to motorists are bad operators and distracted operators. I encounter many Massachusetts operators during my commute and their legendary reputation is well deserved.
It is however interesting to hear the justifications for that conduct.

back on topic, i mounted my v1 as high as i possibly could now for 2 reasons
1. the higher the better supposedly
2. its now behind the tint band on the windshield, less visible to thiefs!

if u drive fast, always replace your brakes ASAP when the brake message is on. i have it many times idiots cut infront of me (like from a intersection) and if i dont slam on the brake hard, i definitely hit those losers!

Rocker Switch for V1 Installed
I got really sick of having to twist the knob on the v1 to turn on/off the unit everytime I got in and out of the car, so I went to autozone, bought some wires and a rocker switch and went to work!
See the post and pictures in my thread for more info:

Just wondering, why don't you tap the V1 into a switched power source, so it turns on/off automatically along with the ignition?
Oh, and do you leave the V1 up there all the time? (I'd be afraid of a smash + grab)

because i only have experience with tapping the driver side fusebox and there arent switched power sources in there....i THINK i may have found one, but i need to experiment a bit more to confirm
and yeah it stays up there like 99% of the time, ive only taken it down like 3 times and thats usually in the city....im getting a 6" strip of 5% tint on saturday installed so that should help hide it even more

If you find a switched power source in the front let me know. The only one I know of is the cigarette lighter but that would be a pain. I need to hard wire my X50 to switched power...I'm sick of turning it on and off
