Free EPC ?

to renew my subscription, and it says it's free for 1 year on NA cars!
https://epc.startekinfo.com/epc/home.jsp
I had previously subscribed for 2 months, and now it's free?
And for a year no less?
Funny thing though, I still had to input credit card info, but it said
$0.00 . Wierd.
Used to be 20 bucks a year.
Super useful for getting your own pn's.
I wonder if others will find the same thing?
Also, whats up with Duval? The online parts site is dead...
I sent an email to Steve...

Steve (NL) said he could get it for about 750 I think it was...
don't quote me.
But something about the ball being of a European standard, and he wasn't certain if it could be retrofitted without seeing it.
Steve (Duval) wrote back and said the management decided not to continue the site. You can still order directly from Steve though.
But wow, it was sooooo useful....
I'm just in shock.I was so easy, (OK not always, the UI is a clunk) searching pn's on EPC and then getting an instant price from Duval and adding to you basket, and then even saving it till later if you were waiting for some $$.
Duval has been instrumental in my sticking with my C.
I'm concerned, in the sense, that if I'm stuck paying the local dealer prices which all are MSRP + 50 -200% or more, I won't be able to afford to keep it.
On the upside, I'm finding parts easier to get in the aftermarket as time goes on. And I still feel excited and grateful to drive it each and every day over the mountain. I'm so temtped to get chipped after my smog and do a dyno.....I bet I'd be 240 at the crank....

I did a search on 'Trademotion' and Mercedes I found this place right away.
Wiper blades for 15, not 60 (local blood sucking leaches). Sweet.

Further research may turn up dealers a little closer.

Yeh, I spent about 1/2 hour trying to find them in the EPC...
but easily found on the trademotion site.
I think Duval may still be less expensive for some things, but a quick search on various parts came up with prices consistently below MSRP.
I got my rear bumper from Duval for 325, the Fort L. dealer was about $350.
(Stock bumper)
I'm going to send my list to Steve F.
and compare the prices on the FL site.
2038400145 and 2038400045 are the R&L wipers for a 2002 coupe.

I asked Steve at Duval and he said, yup, they decided not to charge for it anymore.
