Best car I could swap even for my '06 C230?
I'm getting a little bored with my '06 C230 and been thinking of finding something that I could swap even for. Maybe an older CLK55 or an older E class or a BMW 530i or??? Any ideas? Probably best to stay with a 4 door for business reasons but want something that is as big or bigger that the C230 and something that I can mod a little. I'm assuming that my car is worth mid $20's at best with 26k miles. I had a '98 BMW 528i that I had modded a fair amount and loved it, but not sure if I want to go that route again or not.
Help me decide on a new toy or am I crazy for wanting to change?

Get a 2004 BMW 530 or 2004 Audi A6. The early W211 E's were problematic, not worth the hassle. Or a Jag, like a 2004 XJ8 for about that price, very luxurious and more exclusive than most German marques and more realiable (yes, Ford put a lot of money into making Jag's reliable).
BTW, you want a 4 dr, but you mention a CLK, hmm, have you seen CLK's, they haven't been making them with 4 doors lately, I think what you have is pretty close to a 4 dr CLK, built in same chassis.

Well, I should have done something sooner as I got rear ended Tuesday morning going to work.
Big **** BMW 7 series got me as I saw him coming. No quarter panel damage it appears so it's likely just the bumper, trunk lid, etc.
To respond to some of those that suggested the BMW 5 series, I doubt very much that I could find a sport pkg 530 for any where near what mine's worth. Maybe an e46 M3 but my wife allready has a 330Ci and don't want two of the same body style. Even an '03 E class with a sport pkg is gonna be more $$.
