If youve got burrs, a little emery cloth(used sparingly) should knock them down.
I doubt Kleemann would send out pulley with those defects. It shows very bad QC as they are made individually by ASP. It makes me wonder what other things might be slipping by, like being out of round or some other important but hard to see problem. Well, you get what you pay for!
im no expert either, but how can a rubber belt smooth a rough piece of alloy? i think the sharp edges will cut the belt. i would've informed myself better before installing it. it may be dangerous. check it out asap.
Aluminum is a VERY soft metal. Over time, the nick will become smooth. Similar in process to rocks becoming polished in a river.

From what I understand, Kleemann is shipping pulleys that cause belt rubbing on the waterpump pulley, have they fix that yet?
We would never sell anything that we couldn't stand behind 100%. I really don't see any reason for concern regarding the outside corner of the belt occasionaly rubbing on the waterpump pulley. 1 maybe 2 mm. of belt wear is no reason for concern. Hell, your belt will stretch more than that over it's life span. once that 1 or 2 mm. are worn away, it won't rub anymore anyway.
Call it a self-adapting drive belt

I have two pulleys with similar defects (small chips on the belt surface) that I would never ship to a customer
First you state:
Hurry up with the supercharger upgrade and nobody will want the pulley
One more thing, I'll take the other defective pulley
