How much a 2007 C230 coupe costs in Moscow, Russia
Well, I'm in Moscow now enjoying myself.
Decided to go to a local Benz dealership.
They still have a 2007 c230 coupe end of year unsold standing there. The dash there is different than on the 2005 models in the states. Everything else is the same (more or less)
The options are:
- Bi-Xenon lamps
- heated seats
- rear sunshade (yeah, european option)
- driver power seat
- panorama roof
- leather (again, in europe this was not standard on 05 up)
- 17" rims like on the c230 2007 in states (that rare design)
- automatic tranny
- parktronic
Price ------- 43000 EURO!!! Prices in Russia are rediculously high.
Oh yeah, I inquired about it being end of year model and yeah, they would give it for 40 Euros. That's like 57K US dollars.
So I inquired about what would happen if I export my c coupe to Russia (price with customs to export and taxes is about 6500). They said I could get $35K for it easily. Nice, eh?
BTW, CL550 costs 165 Euros in Russia

Well you can make money in Moscow if you have connections over here.
Only problem is you have to export from US a car specifically for a certain individual who is going to be waiting for it in Russia. Then you wold make money if the deal goes well
Also remember that it's 800 for shipping and 2 euro per each cubic centimeter of engine. So a C230 1.8k would be 800 + 1800*2*1.45
That's about it
