hey yall, about to revive this old thread.
i got a grille, put it on, however my star didnt come attached. I have a problem because I can't push the star all the way in as it sticks out about 1/2 an inch. like others have said here, a tooth-like washer works to push the star all the way into the grille, but i havent tried it yet(mine didn't come with one). Those who have tried it, or anyone else that knows, is this an effective way to get the star all the way in.
I also read that jb epoxy weld would work. what do you guys think i should do?

I like the 3-bar grille.....
Here is my '07 C230 with the clear front side lenses, the flat hood ornament and the revised grille.
Btw, I also retrofitted the OEM command radio/nav head unit (the car already had the 320w 12-speaker H-K Logic7 system), the OEM iPod interface, and the OEM Bluetooth phone setup.

I know there are the after market CL W215 "Style" Grills for the W203 but would a Genuine OEM CL W215 Grill fit a W203 ? Is it a easy straight swop ?

Can someone tell me the part number(s) of the star grilles that would fit my '02 C320 wagon? Or, what year/models would work? I've heard either a w209 or w211 grille would work.

I was looking to replace my stock grille on my '02 c240. I photoshopped a few grilles onto my car to see how they would look, but I'd like to keep my standing hood emblem. I looked through this thread last night and don't remember seeing any CL-style grilles without the giant star on it(this). Does anyone know if that exists? I didn't even see 1 on ebay.
