Saw new Accord the other day...
-The interior design is awesome, especially with the sand leather and burlwood trim.
-The car is extremely rigid.
-Fit and finish are second to none. If you ever have a chance, take a look at the way the hood and other body pannels fit...the gaps are incredibly small and everything looks nice and tight.
Hopefully I can post some pics soon!

I think i would choose the new accord over the new camry
Not a big fan of the 4dr, the coupe looks pretty sweet- not much unlike the new CLK. I'm certainly not saying I'd rather an Accord over a CLK but for even money I think I'd take the 2 Accords.
The Accord Coupe is a nice looking car. Doesn't it have something like 240 hp, 6 speed, leather, etc. for around $25,000? If so, certainly not a car deserving of much criticism.

You can't judge a car by its spec's. Based on spec's, a Hyundai would be comparable to a MB (just as many features for less money)! The Accord is REAR WHEEL DRIVE (HATE THAT!) and I doubt its leather is the same quality as MB. And I'd MUCH rather be in the MB in a wreck.

Regarding FWD - I too prefer RWD, but in reality most people will never notice the difference.
The Hyundai's were actually surprisingly nice as well.

I agree - I don't think the 4 door is ugly by any means, but not great looking, either. Its just there.

...and I thought it was a Civic. YUCK!
Its hard to believe that anyone would really find the Accord coupe to be ugly or unattractive, but I guess tastes vary. I find chrome 19 inch wheels and cut coil springs on a C class unattractive, but lots apparently like that.

If you were about to spend $25K on an Accord coupe V6, I think you'd be very foolish to eliminate the base G35 for just $4K more.
They are two VERY different cars. Anything under 90, the MINI is my choice. It has no noticable torque steer, excellent turn in. and tight suspension. I plan on adding LSD and lighter wheels without runflats.
The MB is calmer, quieter, softer, and roomier. If it were my only car it would have to be a 6 speed with a suspension kit. I have an audio 10 coming.
Fit and finish on both cars are comparable. The MINI has some british quirkiness, and it attracts far more attention. Both have had trim pieces come loose. The MB outweighs the MINI by at least 750 lbs! Nearly every part is heavier than necessary, but that's what gives it a solid feel. I love them both, but for different reasons.

For $29K, the "base" G35 sportcoupe has REAR WHEEL DRIVE, 40 more HP, leather wrapped steering wheel, 17" wheels, and a few more goodies. A similarly equipped Accord Coupe V6 (non-leather) would result in a final price of $25K, and you can forget getting REAR WHEEL DRIVE and those other 40 ponies

I guess you'd be really foolish to pay MORE than G35 money for a C230, with 91 (NINETY-ONE!) ponies LESS, only 16 inch wheels, etc???
You make a good case for the G35 SportsCoupe!
