Installer said TEIN kit wont fit my car?
I purchased TEIN coilovers for my 2007 mercedes C230 from K1motorsport, and i was told they would fit, i finally got around to getting an appt to get them installed and they told me they wont fit, and they spoke to tein as well also saying they would not fit, so im trying to get in contact with K1 to exchange for KW's anybody know they best way to get in contact with them

Benzo, why do you have sprint booster & SI ecu? I thought after SI tune or other its almost no point of sprint booster and I don't see any performance mods to get a new ecu either? K&N doesn't count as "performance" mod.

mechanics bs all the time, you just have to find one that you can trust.
Same thing happened to me when i tried to get coil overs installed on my civic. The guy told me it would take him 6hrs to do and tried to charge me $400 just for the install. I can take apart the entire front and rear suspension of a civic with hand tools and jack stands in 6hrs and i have.

I ordered my Tein Basics the other day and they should be here sometime next week, I was gonna go to XX tuning (East Hartford) to get it done, they're charging $450 for the install. Do you guys happen to know any other places? :dunno:
Can't wait to see pics bro, did you need spacers to lower the car on the stock wheels?

There are a few places that will do the install for you, not sure what they charge.
ISC Performance does good work, from what I hear.

first of all DO NOT go to xxtuning for your coils, they dont have a spring compressor to take out the from suspension, so they will not do it, i had my car there for a day, only to get a phone call saying they could not do it

LUCKY, its 1 hour 20 min from me, they only charged 420$ and did a hell of a job, also cleaned my car, and i have free adjustments through them
