Currently have a CLS550 and in need of commuter car but dont want to drive a Honda! Was wondering what kind of MPG people are getting on their C230 coupe stick or auto? Thanks for your guys is help!

I have an 02 C230K with a stick
My average over the last couple thousand miles: 23mpg
On highway, I can get up to 30mpg if I try really hard. But average I'd say 25-27mpg
In the city, 18-22mpg

I get 23 MPG combined.
Actually I measure more in the miles I drive on a tank and it's always between 300-320 without AC and 285-310 with AC

Get a 2002 model. It has the engine from the SLK 230.

I avg 26.4 right now with a mix of fwy and city driving. Fwy driving is about 31-32 mpg going 60 mph avg. I can get higher than that, but that means drafting a big truck.

29.9 on my computer on normal driving this last month. I have a 2002 c230 with the 2.3 and love this darn car.

On my 230k auto I'm averaging 25mpg, street and freeway, nice and hard driving, with and without the manual override.
