Drivers seat - how often do you adjust it?
How often do you re-adjust your drivers seat? I think I've found that I've been tweaking it every month or so. More frequently than my last car. I'm usually really comfortable, but I've had a hard time really nailing it down so my foot angle on the pedals is perfect. I think it's more of a knee problem for me - my knees are going to crap.

u shouldn't really have to unless u grow in size everyday ... its more driving position if u get it right the 1st time u don't need to change it often ... the only time i change mine is the bloody car wash guy need to pull the seat right back to vaccum or the machanic who service my car with a different height ... thats all

Funny because when I was first looking for my car (a 4-door 2005 C230 Kompressor), one of my absolute requirements was the full power driver's seat with power steering wheel with memory option. Because I absolutely hate it when someone drives my car and changes the seatback angle, cushion, position, etc. Plus, with my shorter wife occasionally driving the car, it would make me nuts having to tweak it to that perfect setting it was before.
Turns out, the car I ended up getting did NOT have this option, but did have many more (Bix, COMAND, H/K system, etc), so I reluctantly gave up on the option. I'm glad I did because I rarely adjust it. And surprisingly, even though I am not tall by any stretch (5'8"), I am most comfortable driving with the seat all the way back!! I don't have really long legs, but the seat all the way back is what's comfortable for my legs. And I'm not driving the car like some people you see with the seatback angle all the way down and stuff. My seat angle is normal. Goes to show how compact our little cars are when a 5'8" guy drives with the seat all the way back.

Never.
Fortunately, even when my wife drives the car, she leaves the seat position alone. She is pretty tall and drives like a real driver.
Actually, now that I think about it, I change the position every time I am vacuuming out the interior.

Love that memory option! A couple different settings for city driving & one for long distance motoring...Too cool...But U CAR WASH GOOBERS NEED TO QUIT MOVING MY DAMN SEAT! U r only in my car for 30 seconds to move it-Unless ur busy stealing the change from my ashtray! If ur too short to reach the pedals get up there w/the peons who're drying!

Yeah, I don't really get it either. My old car, a Probe GT, I actually had quite some space to back it up before it stopped. Maybe because it was a manual, and having to press the clutch all the way to the floor required me to be further up close. But honestly, my right leg is only a little bit bent having the seat all the way back. I do have the steering wheel closer to me, but still it's not ridiculous. Basically, if I have the top of the wheel rim between my thumb and index finger, and if I stretch the rest of my fingers out towards the windshield, my fingers can still hit the top of the dash hood. So the wheel isn't telescoped all the way out towards my chest.
I sometimes wonder if there's something that's not making the seat go all the way back. But it does match the passenger seat when that one's all the way back. I also wonder how someone taller than me could fit in.

I love my dealer for the fact that they haven't changed the seat on me yet. Either that, or they do, and then do a really darn good job at putting it back.
I have lower back issues, and at times my knees are a slight issue, so I guess I just have to tweak things every once and a while.

Took some 18 months of use to get it where I want, now it is just perfect.
Low to the floor. May be silly, but I think it helps me to feel more of the road, head cushion pointed forward, just a slight tilt back on the torso. I want to be able to cross my arms for a tight turn, touch the stereo if needed, and be able to comfortably left foot brake.

I seem to adjust once a week. Not sure if it's the car or what because I never did this on my previous integra. I wouldve loved to have the memory seats but it would've been pointless.
