Those are replica wheels. I think they look better on an older model like a W208/W202/W210

Here are some actual pictures of the wheels:

HyperSilver

HyperBlack

Detailed Shots

Who is the manufacturer of the wheels?

The wheels are manufactured by Velocity Motoring (VM). Through an exclusive agreement with Velocity Motoring, european auto source (eas) is a stocking distributor of the VM lineup. In stock means no waiting for shipments to arrive - these are ready to ship immediately after your order is placed.

What sizes will the V715 be offered in?

An early test run of 19x8.5 in a +40mm offset w/ Stainless Lip will be released in early may has a test run to get feedback from interested parties. In June, 19x9.5" in +45mm for coupes and sedans and +22 offset for M3 will be released.

What size/offsets will be available in June?

Wheels will be offered in the following sizes:

18"x8.5" +40mm offset
18"x9.5" +45mm offset
18"x9.5" +22mm offset

19"x8.5" +40mm offset
19"x9.5" +45mm offset
19"x9.5" +22mm offset

What finishes will be available in the V715?

For May release the only color offered will be HyperSilver, HyperBlack will be released in early June. We're also proud to announce that eas will be exclusive distributor of Gunmetal and Matte Black finish wheels for Velocity Motoring. These will not be available through any other vendor and we plan to have plenty in stock. Other colors can be ordered as a stocking color depending on interest.

What is the difference between HyperSilver and SuperSilver? What about HyperBlack?

Hyper Silver has a black base coat and gives a bit of a shadowing effect more like a forged wheel. Super Silver is lighter in color and looks more like a cast OEM wheel. The wheels will be offered in Hyper Silver, which looks much better with the Stainless lip.

HyperBlack has a Dark in mirror finish with a dark tint that can give off a different appearance depending on the light it is reflecting. This color is very popular within the CSL crowd.

What finishes will the wheel lip be available in?

For May release, the wheels will feature a Stainless lip. This is slightly more expensive in the manufacturing process but adds quality and a deep luster to the look and will last for years with proper care. A polished lip will also be available in June.

What are the specifics of the wheel?

The V715 is an 8-spoke split design and is a 2-piece wheel. The wheel is cast, but very strong and some people may compare it to the 890 wheel, but it is much different in a 2D view. Another thing taken into consideration is that the wheel also does not have the raised "bump" in the wheel barrel that can catch water and cause the wheel to shake at certain speeds. The split spoke design is easy to clean and can transform the look of your BMW immediately after installation.

How deep is the lip on the wheel?

Depending on how you measure can yield different opinions. We like to state the front wheel has a 2.25" lip from center to the outer edge. Rear wheels will add approximately 0.5"-0.75" to the front measurements.

What is the warranty on these wheels?

Like all VM wheels, these carry a 1 year limited warranty.

How much do the V715 wheels weigh?

Approximate weights are 26lbs in the 19"x8.5" size, 19x9.5" rears will be about 26.5lbs. 18x8.5" will be approximately 25lbs and 25.5lbs for 18x9.5". The weight is comparable to the VB3 CSL-style wheels.

What size tires can I fit on my BMW with the V715?

This can widely range from vehicle model to tire manufacturer, as well as lowered setups. Feel free to give eas a call at 866.669.0705 for one-on-one support for your specific vehicle. We can also be contacted by email at info@europeanautosource.com.

We will also be offering wheel/tire packages already mounted & balanced so these can be delivered right to your door, ready for installation.

How much are the wheels (set)?

Wheels will be priced from $999-$1099 depending on color combination.

I’m in! How can I be among the first to receive a set?

Feel free to give eas a call at 866.669.0705 for place a pre-order. We can also be contacted by email at info@europeanautosource.com.

Thanks for looking and feel free to ask questions.

DCR weights about 24-25 for the front and 26-27 in the rear, so it's about the same weight as the SuperlaggeraIII. The BBS RE is 20 for the front and 21 for the rear which weights 1/2 lb lighter than the LMs at similar size.

yup

the steering feel, handling, and acceleration pickup are all better. only down side...255 works hard to put down the power. still running the k104 btw, so they'll get better as they wear down a bit.

there's no need to disconnect the headlight washer hoses. it's not attached to the headlight or the bumper. I had headlight washer and watched Steve and Mark did the install for me couple years back. It's a 30min job if you know what you are doing.

So how many have had rubbing issues with 18" or 19" TSW Bremmas in the back??? I have the chance to pick up a set of nearly new 19's for a good price to put on my '06 C230, but I'm concerned about clearance...........and the roads here. The tires are Nitto's 265's if that makes any difference. The other option is a new set from Euroteck in 18". Yea, I know, there's no lip on the rear.

Plans are to NOT lower right away but will want to at some point later this year. Most likely H&R springs or Tein Basic.

Thanks! Oh, and as if you haven't seen them enough times before......

No headlamp washers (I only got a C180 *sigh)
First side took me bout an hour and a half, second side bout 40 mins. The only difficulty I had was with the thing that connect the bumper to the fender, couldn't see where the little knob slid in at first, a few taps with a hammer on the end of a screw driver made quick work of it

I'd say give it a go yourself following Rlee's thread, just don't over tighten anything (I broke one of the plastic screws ).
