How does this weight compare with say a stock 17" rim?
How big will the lip be for the front and back?
I'm interested. Hoping someone will do a good Pshop so I can check this out on a Coupe.
Man, I'm going to have to take back all the **** talk I do about the bling boys.

Hey B,
where are you getting your tires from? i'm trying to see if we can possibily save on this if we ordered them together from tire rack then i would pay you to ship them to Blaine Washington where i would pick them up. hit me up on IM to discuss this.

If it helps any, I have a Fedex Freight, and Ground Act. The Ground Act doesn't have much of a discount, but freight has a discount. If they put it on a pallet, we could possibly save.

Ed: Check the first post for lip sizes. I have no idea how much the stock 17's weigh.
Terrence: I think your best bet will be to just buy the wheels and tires together directly through the group buy because they will get them from TireRack and ship directly to you for an extra $70 (mount and balance, which you'll have to pay regardless), plus an extra $50 shipping. You'll get the wheels and tires ready to install with the included bolts and caps.
Robert: Thanks for posting that, although alot of that information isn't necessarily relevant to our group buy because offsets, lip sizes, optional finishes, etc. are not the same for our GB. I still think Velocity will end up allowing us to pick other finishes than just the two they've told me so far.

Second, is ride qualilty and crappy streets. The roads here are by far not the worst that you'll see, but I drive a lot on roads with lots of seams and bad repairs. We get lots of pot holes here and they usually do a bad job of patching them. Last night on the way home from work, there was a 24" square x 6" deep section of concrete missing on Hwy 44 that had that lane closed for hours! You should have seen the poor guys car that found it first!
Third is tire costs. I put 15k to 20k a year on my car and end up buying a new set of tires every year. Bottom line is that I really like the lookk of 19's but they are just not practical for me.

Couple of reasons.............first is that I will not be lowering the car for a while and I have noticed that 19's make any wheel well gap apprear bigger due to the smaller tire side walls. I know the gap is the same, but the optical ilussion is that it's more.
