You're going to hate me B but i am out. after thinking about it over night i have decided to get the DPE's over these. it's a lot more money but at least it's local and they're "different". this is a great deal but unfortunately i cannot justify getting 2 sets of rims.

i dont understand any of this width and offset thing.
can anyone explain how this thing works??
(like is it ok to put bigger(longer
) offset? or smaller(shorter ) offset?)
cuz im looking at this aftermarket wheels its 18/7.5 offset 42mm bolt pattern 5/114.3 & 5/100 and 18/8 offset 38mm bolt pattern 5/112.
and i used link on the first page to calculate inner clearance and its saying 11mm LESS for 42mm offset and 14mm LESS for 45mm offset.
i kinda figure out that outter position thingy.
but i have no idea what inner clearance means 
help a noobie out guy

Because with that offset, those of us with coilovers and BBK's would probably have to use spacers. I see nothing wrong with a couple extra mm's of clearance. Trust me, the offsets I've got are ideal for our cars.

I can't guarantee anything, but I'm defiitely pressing them to allow other finishes. I think the main thing is that since this is a custom order, they want to keep the finish options to a minimum. I'm hoping that if they have 10+ orders dangling in front of them, they might budge.

Mercedes is gone physically, but still in my heart.
Makes me wish I didn't sell my C, those look great. By the way, I can vouch that Velocity Motoring makes quality wheels, that's where I bought the set I had on my C Class. Good luck Blake!
