265/30/19 is the biggest you can go without a fender roll. that is what i was running, but i went to a 19x10.5 wheel so i had to have the fender walls rolled to fit my 275 rear. No rubbing at all. Unless there are peeps in the back, which never happens.

Wow...that's crazy 10.5 wheel with 275's (I'm assuming 30 series). That's actually much closer in circumference to 235/35R19 than 265's...hmmm, maybe I'll see if it works on my next set of tires.

Don't even think about it. You're lower and hardly have clearance now! I won't even go wider than 255's.

With some body work, I could get clearance

My car is lowered, and i dont have much rub at all, i mean i may get a skin here and there on a heavy bump, but on normal driving which is all the time cuz im running 25's you really dont have a problem.

Man i feel everything the road has to offer. Luckly its a Merc, and the ride is decent. I mean its no caddy, but its not as bad as if it were on a honda. But yeah i will go thru my cam and find some pics of the rims before the change.

i'd go with a 255/30/19, but if you want a 265 or 275, be my guest.
(just don't blame me when the tire rubs)

fender work would be rolling the fenders and shaving the tab from the rear bumper.
was asking because the package comes with 275/30 but ill just buy 255/30 instead to avoid headache problems ... thanks agian.

Anyone need a pair x2 Nitto 275/30 tires? from 1-10 scale its 8 or above, great conditon .... wont need them so ill give um away for cheap.

You realize that the cirumference of your front and rear are off by 3.3 inches and your rear tire registers a different speed than your front.

Your speedo rating is probably faster than the actual speed you're travelling at.

So when your saying 265/30/19 is the biggest i can go without fender roll, do you mean with a 35 offset?

See i understand the part that rlee said:

"if offset is lower, wheel is close to fender"

with the 32 offset being closer to the fender than a 35 offset 255/30 is prob. th best fit ?

Is this what your telling me?

Nice lip on the rears though. It looks like you could hide small children in those rims.

lol yeah i think you may be right about that, but i had them put it on the rack at the local merc shop, and they said it should only affect my mph by 2, or 3. Its my gas that is outta control. But yeah cost to be the boss i guess. I just like the way it looks. So i guess i can complain about it later. BUT also have some news, the car may be leaving tomorrow if i can work out this deal on an STI. So i may be saying bye bye to the w203. Well see what happens

Wow really? The new model STI or older model? Fast car, but I'd take an EVO over the STI in overall looks/performance. Good luck on the purchase.

And you're right, the 275's look crazy on there. I'm sure it doesn't hurt on the turns either.
