What do you think these would look like on pewter c230?

It looks ok,I prefer the Lorinser fan style wheels in black that Ronce's selling in classifieds tho, but it's 19s.

My wheels are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5. The offsets are created by the Brabus fitkit (spacers) ET 29 and ET35. The tires are 235/35 and 265/30. I had to shave the piece by the bumper and roll the fenders to make sure I did not rub with people in the back seat or when I took a sharp right turn.

I'm going with FK-452's from Falken. $698 for the tires... (245's and 265's, which should fit just fine)

I have a set on the car right now (on the stock rims) that is the fourth set of Falken tires I've owned, and they've all been great.

And you're right, the 275's look crazy on there. I'm sure it doesn't hurt on the turns either.
Yeah turns are fun, doesnt really matter what speed i take them at those tires hug, only downside is the road noise. Its loud on a dry day. But yeah still trying to work out the details on the car - rims will be up for sale if i do get the car. And Drex its the 07 style. Have been thinkin about a evo Mr, but my boss has one and it would be kinda fun to rag him if i get mine.

If I were to decide between the 2 new styles, it'd be the new EVO FTMFW!... Saw that thing when it was debuted at MOD (Mitsubishi Owner's Day) last year and it was definitely nice looking (not taking into consideration how fast it's going to be). Wish I had the pics here at work. I think I have them at home, but the concept that was debuted was said to be 95-99% going to production (just minor changes here and there, if any). The current EVO MR is bad *** also! My cousin had one, until some old lady in a brand new bimmer side-swiped it in front of my house. Luckily, she had no choice but to stay because her car had to be towed away. Just hope they total his EVO out cuz there's no way it'll drive the same if they determine it's not totalled!

I'll see if I can find them. I seriously would consider waiting, even if it will be 1st year of production (which is something I've never done, ever). For a split second, I was considering putting a down payment on one and then trading my car in when it was released...but decided it was more fun to have my car completely custom and unique (not to mention the custom performance stuff that's on the car right now). Either way, good luck with the decision!

Yeah the new evo x is nutts, but likewise, im a little skittish about buying something in its first year of production. But yeah im looking at some today at the local mits dealer. Making the choice on the STI or EVO monday.

But man imma miss my car -I just i will have to get my merc fix of my pops c55. Oh well !

I don't think it is. I've seen a few guys posting up about 245 width fronts, and I know that 235's fit just fine on the factory 17's...

sorry, too many pages to read and on company time

Is there anyway I can fit 19x9 and 19x10 on a lowered '03 C240?

The shop im buying the rims from claims that those exact rim spec fit an 04 C-class

quick information appreciated

EDIT : I know the 19x10 can fit the rears based on the others info (much thanks) but can 19x9 fit the fronts?

I've never heard of anyone running 9" up front. Too wide, IMO.

I've only heard and seen of one C Class (w203) that has more than 19X9 in the front. That's Wide_W203 (I think that's how David spelled his username). Anyways, his car was featured in Eurotuner and had a custom wide body kit. He painted the car blue and added more custom stuff to it and had something ridiculous like 19X10F / 19X12R.

Just remember though, that was a widebody C Class. Never heard of anybody going 19X9 in the front for normal C Classes. Sorry.

If you go with 245 you wont be able to turn the wheel all the way without burning/ scratching your front plastic guard in the wheel housing.

235/35 for the front is just fine

Yes, these wheels are being designed to clear C32 and MB sport BBK's, as well as coilovers, based on the specs I have provided to Velocity. They are currently building a test set based on my specs and will test fit to ensure fitment before starting production. Once fitment has been confirmed, 50% deposits will be collected. Once all deposits are collected, production will begin, with wheels finished and delivered in approximately 4 weeks. As previously mentioned, Velocity did not intend to produce these wheels for Mercedes (BMW and Audi only) and the test set has been put on the backburner in order for them to meet current demand for BMW's and Audi's. They will not give me an ETA on when the test set will be completed, but I will update everyone as soon as I know. I am getting very anxious, but unfortunately there is nothing I can do to speed up the process.

It is TOO wide to work, granted you can, but i would HIGHLY not recommend it. You will run into so many problems with turns your going to kick yourself for it.

Not to mention its going to start to look like a hot rod the wider you go. I only went that wide in the back was for the look. and i already have my qwerks with that ! Your turning, will be highly effected also, you really do not want a huge front tire, but then again, this is only my .02 -

But i would not do it. Sounds like problems waiting to happen. Plus with your front brakes being the majority of your stopping power, i hope you talking about upgrading your brakes to slow down all the weight you just added psi. Once again good luck. but i would not do it.

its not easy - I need to have it shipped. and you know how shop policies are regarding item returns (you pay shipping back regardless)

New wheels................

Thanks Nicky...

I have found new wheels, they claim they have a 30mm offset front and back, will they fit my 2005 C230 Kompressor with big calipers, with your experience.... How will they look on the front and back, will they be to the inside or even to the car????????????????

Thanks to anyone that can answer these questions......

lol...you think the replica CLS AMG wheel looks better than the stock C- sport wheel?

anyways, those will fit based on the design and if they're 19x8.5 all around then ET30 is perfect for you/whoever asked.

alright guys, this pic popped up on M3forum and on e46fanatics so I figured I'd share it with you all.

not too sure if it's an "official" pic, but apparently the people on M3f and e46 got it from the photobucket account of someone who works for the company so I take it it's an official pic.
