If I'm not mistaken, he means he considered them before he got the OZ's.

Negative, I wasn't referring to that. I'll let Drex tell us about the incident if he wants to.

Didn't realize John had posted it over there. Been so busy and haven't been on.

Apparently, one of the drivers at MB doesn't know how to drive and curbed one of my rims. They're getting the rim fixed, but not sure by what company. I'll inspect it when I pick the car up. Oh well. Ish happens.

Besides, John and my SA have my back, so they're taking care of it for me. Not really too worried.

Funny, cuz I didn't even read that thread until today and after Ling had mentioned it. John just called me on the phone to tell me.

Either way, I know it wasn't John and I know it wasn't the SA and neither of them have control over the valet/driver and how they drive the cars.

In all honesty, I just kinda hope that valet doesn't lose his job over it or anything like that. Considering I get along really well with my SA and my tech is a friend, I don't really worry too much about it (guess that's just me not taking it for granted)

I guess the main thing is that, they were willing to take care of it before I even spotted it for myself. That's true customer service for you. For those of you in the L.A. area that need a good S.A. to go to...Terry Mckie at MB of Beverly Hills And the tech he works with ...knows his stuff.

I didn't know there was a thread about it, but he told me when it happened because we were both talking to each other on the myMB whoring thread. He said the driver is usually good and is in the one that drives and ships SLR's, but i guess he just had a mistake. Haha, it's kinda funny that you just found out tho

No thread. That's the thread I'm talking about...LOL.

Yeah, the driver is the one that they trust the most...Just obviously figured my car was "just a C Class" and didn't exactly pay as "close" attention as he would the SLR's...LOL. It seriously isn't that big a deal since Terry is getting it fixed for me.

i wanted to get the enkei rpm2's in the titanium finish they have, but dunno if 18x8 will work all around at 35et.

That nice. I find lips on wheels to be ugly, but to each his own.

I find aftermarket wheels on unlowered cars pointless. So likewise.

Ah, okay. Hopefully it isn't too bad. John had sounded like it was much more than a curb job.

I'm hoping it was more shock than anything. From what they described, the integrity of the wheel was still true, which led me to believe it was just a curb. And they were estimating it would be sometime tomorrow when the wheel will be fixed, but we'll see. Either way, I trust Terry and John will keep me updated.

Either way, I'm definitely inspecting it when it is done. If it's not done right, I'll just let Terry and John know and I'm sure they'll be able to take care of it. Great SA and Great Tech. It's the most I've felt "taken care of" since owning my car.

How about you do a search for their website and READ about them. This thread has nothing to do with those wheels. Or how about you check the AFTERMARKET WHEEL thread.

If someone had heard about those, they probably would've responded. Don't expect a spoon feeding. All it takes is a quick search on google and I'm sure you'll find their website that has information about how their wheels are made.

Information is good for the brain. Reading is good for the brain.

Wink Wheels for my Black C240

Hello, I have a Black '04 C240. Any recommendations for some rims? I don't know much about cars and would like to fix it up. Windows are tinted now, which I would of gone darker, but oh well.. I don't want the wheels to be too big, nor do I want to spend too much. Any thoughts, anyone?

Where are you from. There's really good deals in Los Angeles that I found when I was looking for my rims.

Shameless plug I know- but here ya go: https://mbworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=215038

They would clear your calipers just fine with no spacers- just bolt on and go.

STFF for photos and choose few styles that u like the most.... then we can recommend which one would be best... everyone has own opinions and it's really up to YOUR personal taste on rims...
