W203/CL203 Aftermarket Wheel Thread - All you want to know
I'm really liking the W209 style AMG double spokes. Can't wait for the Spring to throw 'em on.

hey we should all post pics of our cars with the winter set up. i'll try to take some pics today!
Yeah great price but there is something fishy about it all so I passed on them
So now im getting them from tire rack for a little ove 600 shiped. If I get them with tires it will be 1300 balanced and ready to go.
soft enough but not bouncy, more like between E class and bimmer 3...
I know I'm asking u guys alot but I just don't wanna go wrong. so any suggestion to get close to that feeling?
thx.

I just had M-class amg 63 *replica's* fitted on my cl203.
It was at the dealer for a few days until they could source the right lugs.
okay.. after the long long and expensive wait, i was told that the front rims may be too wide, so the tire is about a bee's d*ck away from rubbing against the suspension. I have had 18x9.5 and 18x8.5 fitted. has anyone had problems of this sort? has the rubber ever hit the suspention struts (or whatever its called)?
please.. asap... would like to know before i get the old wheels put back on.
I thinks 18" rims are away too heavy for a C240, it feels like having 2 passengers sitting in the backsit..
can someone please check if I have installed windshield wiper correctly? I know the right side is fine but not sure if I have installed the left side upside down.. thanks
Mike

would i need spacers?. also, what would be the required clearence between the actual wheel well and 'suspention strut'. at the moment its approx. 2mm, so its very close. Im thinking.. if i was to go over a pot hole.. would i loose a wheel?
oh yes.. would ppl like pics? (happy to share and show off) im up for feedback on the looks, even if its criticism.
Think this will be helpfull for lots, fill in the blanks.
What would the correct offset and tire size to run these wheel sizes. On a W203.
And how will the tires/wheels fit in the fender? Even, bluldging or strechted tires.
Front 17x9 ET? Tire size ___/___/17 Rear 17x10 Tire size ___/___/17
Front 18x9 ET? Tire size ___/___/18 Rear 18x10 ET? Tire size ___/___/18
Front 19x9 ET? Tire size ___/___/19 Rear 19x10 ET? Tire size ___/___/19

Chassis has been around for 6 years already. It's too bad that life isn't handed to everyone on a silver platter, but hey, i'm not gonna hate, cuz I just answered your question. If you're gonna be ungrateful and disrespectful about it, i'll keep that in mind for future reference.

I hear ya. I cant stand looking at my car with the stockies. Riding in style in the snow FTMFW.
