#3 doesn't look bad, but more importantly... what are the specs on the wheels and what suspension are you running?

I know there are a lot of Chrome haters out there, but its hard to deny that a dark car with just enough chorome tinted windows, and droped just a little looks pretty sweet!!!

Thanks in advance for the opinions.
I hope you meant to put a comma after chrome...chrome tint (mirror) is ghey

the Hyper black looks good.

Here are the specs for the wheels

#1

Name : ADR - BATTLE EXE
Bolt pattern : 5X112
Size : 18X8.5
Offset : 35mm
Finish : Silver / Silver Polished lip
Weight : 23Lbs each

#2, and 3 same wheel different finish

Brand : Stern ST-8
Bolt pattern : 5 x 112
Size : 18 x 8.5(front) & 18 x 9.5(Rear)
Offset : 35mm(front) & 35mm(Rear)
Lip size : 2"(front) & 3"(Rear)

I couldn't find the weight info, but since ADA, and stern have the same parent company I would asume that they would be produced the same way, and quality wise would be about the same.

If I could find a way to tine all of my chrome to the same black chrome look that would really be cool!!! but for now it is jsut chrome in a few places, nothing too much, and tinted windows. the suspension is just stock shocks with Voghtland audio springs. nothing too fancy, and no camber kit required.

fender work is easy and required for most 19's (lowered)

Buy a Fender Roller ($250 on eBay)
Use it once and put it back on ebay...you'll get about 90% of what you paid.

Buy a Dremel ($30 on eBay)
Dremel off the bumper strips.
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w203/170923-pictorial-request-how-what-dremal-remove-wheel-wells-stop-rubbing.html

And you're done.

oh oh oh my turn ...

Just need confirmation (or correction):

F: 18X8.5 et 30 with 225/40 (being precautious with tires)
R: 18X9.5 et 34 with 255/35 ( "" )

combined with H&R coils with pads #3
on the coupe

this setting won't need fender works but might need spacers right? if yes what size?
thx for the help.

I am also looking at buying the same ones (gunmetal w/polished lip) for my 2005 C230 Sport Coupe. I'm guessing these would fit well in the rear, but I'm not sure if these would need spacers (5mm?) in the front. Does anyone know if I need spacers for 8.5's in the front?

Iforged nope its a Japanese wheel company. Dronell used to be part of 5zigen and Riverside Zephter and Alstadt wheels. Not sure if they are still all affiliated these days.

Could someone please advice me if 18x8.5 with 35mm offset will fit for a C230 coupe ? I'm mostly concerned about the front. Will I need spacer? If so, then what size? I plan on lowering the car using eibachs later on (1.2" drop). Sorry for asking again, but the ebay sale for the wheels that I like ends tomorrow afternoon. I have read through the whole thread & have somewhat of an idea, but I can't be sure.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

An.

They should fit, but you might run into problems if you drop with coilovers and/or add a BBK.

Thanks Blake for you reply. I don't intend to get coilovers, just standard lowering springs like these H&Rs http://www.optionsauto.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HR-52792 or the eibachs, keeping stock shocks & struts. So, I should be good right?

Once again, thanks very much for your help.

As far as the wheels, you shouldn't have any problems with fitment. I can't say the same for your suspension plans. You'll be fine for a little while, until your stock shocks blow out from using shorter/stiffer aftermarket springs on shocks that weren't designed to handle them.
