I got my lugs from them for my CLS wheels and I haven't had any vibration issues what so ever I think those SL wheels on your car make it very unique! Ya should go back to them. The lugs weren't too expensive either, I think about 60 bux - Just be sure to get the proper shank length.

Has there been any C320s with 20s on them? I am looking at a 20 x 9 with anywhere from a +25, +30 or +32 offset. The car is a 4matic so im not too interested in going staggard fitment unless it has been done with no issues. Any Ideas? Thanks for your help.

Thanks HeirKranz and Tru for the info.

HeirKranz I was told stock tires wouldnt fit. My friends selling me the SL rims with tires. I'd hate to have to buy new sets of tires. I'm not planning to lower my car since it is low enough IMO. Any chance stock tires would work?

JUST DON'T GO OVER 265 IN THE REAR AND 235 IN THE FRONTw/o rolling the fenders-- not sure on stock sl fitment 245 or 255 fronts??

last set i put on were 275 in the rear and 255 in the front---they stuck out real close to the fender in the front and for the rear i couldn't make it out of the driveway (lowered of course) -- they are on my buddies unlowered c32 and fit fine with the rear rolled ---you will need to roll the fender or get new tires-

Where is the best place to get the spacers and what size is required? Minmum vs. Maximum?

Also...did your spacers give you any problems? i.e. vibrating..shaking???

ive been told that it IS possible to do 20s without rubbing as long as you have the perfect sized rim and shaped tire

i'd recommend 20x8.5 with like 32-35mm offset and 225 for tires

only problem is you'll need fender modifications (trimming), you can't go too low, and you can't really run staggered.

Get H&R, you need hubcentric to avoid vibration, the minimum is 10mm i believe.

Fronts are 255/40/18 and rear 285/35/18. Sounds like this is more trouble that it's worth.

it is----too much trouble--- unless you have unlimited funds and want to really cut into the fenders-- or you can get a lift kit and do this

i can't think of the guy's name- but he had a black w203 with 5 spoke 20's- made by dronel i think. there are pictures floating around on here of it. seems like Shake posted a picture of him somewhere in this thread. his car seemed somewhat low- about what you would get out of a set of drop springs.

I THINK Slvr was informing you to get H&R Hubcentric spacers, BUT 10 MM is the thinnest they have for their hubcentric spacers. FrankW also did mention ,it was 8 MM not 10 MM for the thinnest from H&R. I tried their 5s and I was getting vibration going 90-110 KM/H and gone after that range of speed.

From what I know, 8 MM/10 MM for your fronts, it would be to agressive for your car and it would stick out too much close to the fender.

For the rears, you don't need spacers, but make sure get rounded sidewall brand of tires in 245s/255s, I'd go with 245s tho. TRY STTF more..

Why don't you read through the wheels thread, you'll most definitely get your answers.

Work VS-XX

Whats up Guys,
so im new to these forums, and ive read through the wheel thread as well as search for some answers, but i didnt find answers to these specific wheels im interested in. I have a chance to get a set of used Work VS-XX for a 2005 C230K ss, i know there are a few people with these wheels here, so hopefully you can help me out. Here are the sizes. 19x8.5f et24 19x9.5r et32.

Now ive read that the front should be around et35, but ive also read that some people have et35 with 10mm spacers.

So my question is will these wheels fit? The car has a stock suspension, but will most likely get lowered soon after(probably tein basic or H&R coilovers- highest settings), but not too low. I dont want to have to deal with any fender work. From what ive read here it seems as though these would stick out too much and would rub way too much, but the guy selling said they were on a c55 and they ran fine.

Now i know the tires are a factor as well. They'll probably be on Falken 452, i believe. He said the sidewalls are more rounded on these. 235-35f 265-30r.

That is pretty much all the info i have. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

I've been STTFing and asking around in this forum about this and ET 28 F and ET 32 R would be considered ideal here especially if the car has BBKs and COs. Well,I do know someone here's running COs with ET 27 on the fronts in his C55.

From what I know, ET 24 is too agressive for your C and I wouldn't get wheels with ET 35 on the fronts either coz you wouldn't be able to lower your fronts too much due to tires rubbing against your COs.

GL..

yep, BMW is 5x120 and MB is 5x112.
M3 wheels have too agressive of and offset too, they don't even fit on regular E46's
and the second wheel you pictured is the HRE C20

Thanks for that.. I just talked to WorkUSA and they told me to get et28 front and 32 rear, the et24 front would have some slight rubbing if the car is lowered. But i am getting these at such a good price, im thinking about getting them anyways.

When you say et24 is too aggressive, do you mean its just gonna stick out too far and it wont be flush with the wheel well?

Do you know if there are any other negative effects with running a wheel this size/offset?

Thanks!
