Ok Ok...found some wheels with these specs
18x8.5 +32 front
18x9.5 +30 rear
Can I fit these on an 05 C230K SS? I don't plan on lowering the car at all, but I'm mostly concerned if whether or not the fronts are too wide and if the rear offset of +30 will work.
Also, recommend tire size? I was thinking 225/35 and 245/35 for a little bit of stretch.
TIA

As for tires I would go with 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 but you can also go with 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 in the rears. just depends on how much meat you want on your wheels.

I'm in doubt, I'm looking at a new set of wheels, but don't know if I'll be able to run them in the back ...
front :8,5jx18 et 35
rear : 9,5jx18 et 40
I'm guessing front is no problem at all, but for the rears, I'm not sure.
would I need spacers on that or not ?
grtz

Lowest I'd go on offset is +35 maybe +38. You can always buy 5mm spacers just in case. But I'd test fit the wheels first. Since you have larger front brakes +35 might be close depending on how the wheel is designed. I had to get 10mm spacers in front even though my offset was +30. If you can, test fit the wheels first.

Rubbing Issue
Got the wheels on all the way now have some rubbing in the back though any thoughts what it could be? I will take the wheel off in a few days and see if I find any wear marks. The wheels are ruff 19 8.5 235/35/19 front and 19 265/30/19 rear 35mm offset with 5mm spacer all the way around with stock suspension. Not sure if it needs lowered or not yet.

Most common area where it rubs is where the rear bumper and fender meet. Sometimes the tires will rub against the bracket on the inside. A little fender rolling will get rid of it. I've also noticed that the plastic tabs holding the inner liner will sometimes make contact but that's usually on lowered cars.

You guys want to help me choose my next set of wheels!?
It will have to be from HRE 560 collection.
560C
563C
565C
567C
It'll be going on this
I'm leaning heavily towards the 560 and 563 in second, but i'd like others opinions.

@phister: yeah! i was thinking that one also because my past 3 wheels were all mesh. As much as i love mesh wheels.. i thought about getting something different this time. Although, I'm not really sure if it would look right on a w203. I need to see it first Seeing is believing!
Thanks for the replies guys.

sadly yeah. I guess i couldn't stand having the fronts sticking out too much!
long story short, i ended up with a set of HRE for dirt dirt cheap but i needed to replace 2 of the faces. HRE is willing to replace the faces for me but with the 560 series for a discounted price and using my existing wheel halves(inner/outer lip).

Now that I've been thinking it over. I think I might go with the 563. I googled the wheels on actual cars and I think the 563 looks better than the 560. In the picture I showed you guys it looked nice but real pictures it look okay.
Now! Brushed aluminum finished or the cliche gunmetal on silver combo!

So I'll have details by next tuesday! HRE gave me a really good deal on new faces + paint. Now they're just checking the wheels if the barrels are crack or bent.
I'm going with 563 with a brushed aluminum finish. I would love the 560 but i think i'll try something different, since i've always gotten mesh wheels.
Now for tires?? It's going to be 18x9 et 37 all around. I currently have a set of 4 245/45/18's. I guess I can use them for the back? But for sure it's impossible for the fronts!
What should I get for the fronts?
