They look good and it is a better alternative than the carlsson 1/16 BE...way more expensive! so I might not go for the carlsson...
however, Brabus_x2's moven look as cool though!

wheel fitment question
hey i was looking at some rims that are 18x8 offset: 35 and 18x9 with the same offset in the back. Now what i was wondering is would i need to run spacers with these if so by how much? and i don't believe i would run into any other problems running this set up right?
also i know this isn't that much bigger then stock but i don't wanna have to worry about rubbing or camber kits or anything so i figured these can get the job done... oh and besides they dont carry them in 19's haha

well i just saw them at this local shop i went to i don't exactly have a pic or know what they are called.. but i mean any general idea what is the usual range of working offset without having a problem? i'm am new to these car since i come from a world of lowered down low offset drift cars haha
and sorry meant fitment but in my defense i hadn't sleep in over 24hrs when i wrote that haha
but if i had to say they look like the ones all the way to the right but the center piece is also black

on a C240, i don't think you need spacers (i'll let others chime in)....the place you bought the wheels from should be able to tell you. However, if you "want" spacers, that depends on what look you like. I'm guessing that 10mm on the front and 5mm on the back would do the trick. However, if your car isn't lowered, than rubbing is of no concern. If it is lowered, then running a 10mm in the rear with a 265 tire, you will probably rub. Regardless, if you go with spacers, I would recommend hubcentric spacers (at least for the 10mm spacer)....and be sure to get the right longer lug bolts.
As for tire sizes, it seems 235/265 is the preferred set-up, but I just posted a thread asking what advantages/disadvantages there are running 225/265.

yeah i get what your saying just figured since the rims is the same width regardless of where the lip sits that it was enough to know with knowing the measurement of the offset since the hub mounting face is 35mm from the center line of the wheel towards the roadside (which is the +35 offset) so if the center line of the rear would be 4.5 inches in and then just add 35mm is that not a correct way to get the lip size..?

2007 C230 silver/black
wheels/tires questions
I drive 2007 C230 ss now with stock suspension and not planning to change that at all. My plan right now as far as wheels I'm gonna start saving up and wait until my stock tires need to be replaced then buy some new wheels with tires by then. 18" sounds like the best way to go for me since my stock ones are already 17" and 19" just too expensive for me (both wheels and tires).
Q1. What is the expected mileage for my stock tires? They are:
Pzero 7.5Jx17H2 offset 1.42(36mm) 225/45R17 91W =Front
Pzero 8.5Jx17H2 offset 1.18(30mm) 245/40R17 91W =Rear
these were info i found both on my tires and my car's manual, I hope they are the correct information.
I've driven about 15k on them so far and I want to know in you guys' opinion, at roughly what mileage I will need to replace them, so hopefully I will have enough money by then.
I visited both tirerack and discount tires websites and found two set of rims I really like. Those were meant to fit my car I supose.
ASA AR9 with carbon spoke insert
TSW Bremma 18x8 5-112 32SML
Q2: Both of these websites suggest 18x8 with bolt pattern of 5-112 for all 4 wheels. I understand my stock wheels are staggered. I need to find the staggered sets if I want to buy these wheels right? If so, what combination of front/rear width I should be looking for? and between what offsets they will fit in my car without doing anything else?
Thanks for reading, cheers!
Joe

look on your side wall for treadwear. depends on which Pzero it is it's usually 220 treadwear which means 22k miles if you drive like a grandma. they tend to last around 18k miles if you are lucky.
i like the ASA's new wheel. those free inserts are a plus so you can change the look. tireracks are idiots, period. they sell wheel fitment only to protect themselves. They don't suggest all possible fitment. If ASA does have wider width for that design in MB bolt pattern and hub find more info on it through your local tuner shops or find more info from ASA.
but NO, you don't have to run staggered setup when you change out the wheels. you can run staggered tires on non-staggered wheels, or run non-staggered tires on non-staggered wheels. all depends on how you want it to look. non-staggered setup may require spacer if you want to have that flush to the fender look since the non-staggered offset are usually setup for the front which the rear will not be aggressive enough.
