19" rims how will they fit?
Hello, wondering if these rims will fit:
They are 19X8.5 in front with ET offset of 30mm
They are 19X9.5 in rear with ET offset of 35mm
The tires are 235/35/19 in front
265/30/19 in rear
I have had same rim and tire size on this car before, but I am not sure what the offset was on the old rims.
Think rear will be ok, but I am a little concerned about the offset upfront and if there will be caliper clearance.
Thanks.
Shawn

I have narrowed my search of rims down to a few types.
I have done the research but TSW only makes their front rims in 19x8 with a 32 offset. What would be the correct size for the front tire now. Can I still use the 235/35/19 tire or something smaller.
The rear is all set. 19x9.5 with a 35 offset. I am going to use 265/30/19.
The rims I am looking at are attached. I like the black milleniums as well but think the car will be too dark.
2005 c230 SS in Black.
Thanks for the help.

you will need shorter bolts. stock bolts only works on OEM 203 wheels.

[QUOTE=FrankW;4119207]base on the pic of that particular style of TSW they will not fit the front because of the lip design.
That sucks. There is no way around that? The website says they fit the car. Not doubting you, just trying to find out more info.
Thanks Frank

So, you may be able to pull off a 235 in front..that or drop to a 225. Are you lowered??
The front wheel is going to have a lot less dish than the pic. TSW always shows the wide *** rear wheel with the deep dish, but as Frank notes, the front will be less lip.
If you go with TSW or Mandrus, try and buy them through Americas Tire/Discount Tire and have them get the wheels into the closest shop and do a test fit. Make sure they clear your brakes, etc. Good luck on it.

MBKomp, for what it's worth, i am running TSW Crofts 18x8 32ET-225/40/18 in front and 18x9.5 35ET 255/35/18 Rear

Here is the exact page for the rims. They are saying this setup will fit. 1.75 lip in the front 3 inch lip in the back.

What is the correct size tire for a 19x8 front rim? The place I am looking at has the 235/35/19 tire with it. Is that correct?
I am looking for a good size lip in the back.
Please check it out. I would hate to make a mistake and have to wait for the refund.

No lowering and no plans for it. I understand the lip may not be as big in the front. I am looking for a rim with some black in it and this is the closest thing I could find.

Thanks for the info. The 235/35/19 tire will give me more rim protection right?
I would prefer that as long as it fits well.
If I do need to drop down to the 225/35/19 tire should I reduce the rear tire size as well?

You'll need at least +25 to +28 infront and +35 in rear... and if you get 18x10 in the rear you'll need a negative camber and roll and pull your fenders to get them to fit. I have 18x8.5 +25 (had to get a 3mm spacer) fronts and 18x9.5 +33 in rear with 225/40 and 255/35 tires on my car. You have to consider the front calipers when you get wheels and make sure they have clearance over them.

I have 10.5" in the rear and didnt need to adjust the camber of my car, so it depends on the tire and the offset..

this is true but since he has the SS package, his car will be lower than yours. If you put on some H&R springs or coilovers, I would bet you'd be rubbing and needing to put some negative camber on your wheels also. There have many discussions on having 10-10.5 on their rears and many of them that have their car lowered with 10 in the rear have had to pull and roll their fenders and get some negative camber to get them to not rub.

heres one of my favorite w203 i found searching in iputinwork.com I love its stance and wheels I'm contemplating between these Works wheels and the other Works thats on my friends orange Z. I like the stepped lip on these wheels cause it goes great with the lines of our car.

You need to aim for offset ET30 + eg 29, 28 etc. or you will need spacers. Strongly suggest test fit as well.
