19" 8.5 front 9.5 back ?

Hey guys, i found a nice deal on a set of rims with tyres, but I don't think they'll fit, can someone let me know if this setup is possible ?? will install HR Lowering springs with that too.

Front: 8,5x19 ET36
Back: 9,5x19 ET46

I know the width is ok, i've seen lots of those fitments, it's the offset that worries me !, any thoughts ?, i'm ok with fender rolling, but i'm not sure if it's worth if it i'll have to do more than that !, I originally wanted 18" but who can say no to original AMGs ?

EDIT:
Forgot to tell you it's a '01 C200K, standard suspension/brakes !

The offsets are wrong. You would have to use spacers to make them work which is not a great idea.

Thanks for the tip, I had a strong feeling about that too.. what are my limits on the offset when buying rims ?
I'm still planning to stick to the 8.5 and 9.5 setup, just not sure which offset should be the best ?
something that wouldn't require rolling would be ideal, but I'm ok if i'll need rolling !

You need fronts in the ET 30/32 range & rears in the 35/37 range standard.

If you are happy to roll fenders you can go:

Front in the 25/30 range (front restriction is fouling the strut on the inside of the wheel/tyre)
Rear around 30.

The fronts will stick out & probably still foul the strut. You are going to have to do major bodywork to get 10" at ET24 into the rear wheel arch.

Unless you intend to widebody the car this setup is not practical.

I'm running 18x9 +15 front and 18x10+17 rear. Major rolling and pulling required.

Thanks Phi ~ I'm sure that major rolling & pulling was required. Maybe you could give BenzoLenny clearance at the front strut dimple so that he can work back & whether you are stretching tyres or fitting standard for that rim size. I don't like stretching tyres as it runs the tyre outside it's design parameters but to each his own.

Question: What do you guys use to resize the picture to signature specs? I've had new wheels for months now and I want to put them on my signature. Edit: W203/CL203 Aftermarket Wheel Thread - All you want to know-null_zps26b141ef.jpg

2005 C240 Wagon
Hi Folks,
Got a chance to score some C36 AMG hammers, all 17x7.5, ET37, 66.6 centerbore, for my 4matic wagon. They're an old look but I've always loved them and have never seen them on a W203.

Will the centerbore work? Not sure what stock is...

Also, the calculator says they will be 12mm closer to the struts, is that enough clearance? My current wheels are stock 7-spoke, 16x7, ET31.

Thanks for the help!

Definitely wasn't easy but we were able to fit 19x9" with 225 and 19x10" with 245 tires on our 05 C230!

Note that this has been achieved by stretching smaller tyres than correct to fit the wheels & still achieve clearance.

^^^ I got your email brotha, that would be a good idea to take a vacation out here! the specs i was looking at was 18x9.5 R and 18x9 F. I'm still trying to figure out what would have the best stance on this vehicle. I came from subaru's where we put the same wheel size all the way around.

I bought Ronals AMG Style III -wheels. Front wheels are 8,5" ET 30 and rear wheels are 9,5" ET 33. Is there problems in front with 225/40/18 and rear with 255/35/18 Nankang tires ? I have H&R -40mm springs. My car is s203 -06 Avantgarde.

personally like Continental DWS, but if you want summer tires for a good price go with Hankook v12 evo.

I'm trying out some Hankook noble s2 for the rears right now to see how long they last.

As I have used both the DWS and V12 evo I do like both but obviously the Hankooks are way more fun but the DWS don't seem to wear...

Hey friends,

quick question here, Would these fit on my car? The offset and width seem to be okay but i'm not sure if these pups will clear my AMG brakes? I am aware i will most likely need to roll/pull fenders for these though.

17x9/10 +32/38 CCW LM20

I'm lowered on H&R Coilovers (front - less than finger space, rear - finger space)

thanks in advance !

with the CCW you'll most likely need a 10mm spacer to clear the calipers. I have 18x9 + 25 when I ordered them thinking it'd clear but they way they machine the back of the face the calipers hit the spokes so I had to add a 10mm to clear my C32 calipers. I'd personally run 10mm spacers all around on the CCW LM20 to get a flush look.
