on the other hand, since it was soooo cheap, i would've got the replicas iff i was the only one driving that car...
yea... my thoughts....

Brabus = $5800.00
Replica = $1500.00

Im probably gonna go with the replicas, there cant be that much of a difference!

The difference between replica and original is that with the replicas you have to watch out from bumps and pot holes because they will most likely damage your wheels and they might even crack your wheels too.

Nitrousoxide have u seen the pix of the So Cal meet ? Well the Black E class w/the Red Brabus Engine Cover had Movens and they look pretty ok no? From a distance you cant tell and just remember only 1% off the population is 'hardcore' lol. 99% else are completly oblivious to this much like you might be w/5 zigen vs Volk Racing.

CarssonCRS: I want some Iforged too but used cuz I want to do something WEIRD to the centers so if it doesnt come out 'right' I dont want to loose that much on them...

<<---- hardcore, and gang and dont worry enri... im not oblivious to the IMPORTS either.... i was once a ricer vroom vroom, and yes the black E class with the movens (Doc) did not look too badd, i had a chance to compair the real and fake side to side, and the main difference other then its a one piece, is that finish which you can already tell...but its Mainly on the finish on the lip, the movens are shine more....and the spokes are just a tad bit shinier...

And what about the weight? which one is lighter? It could be a good argument for the choice.

NiTr0u5oXiDe - I went to a local shop to check out the Movens (19's) and the quality of the rims were pretty good. Not bad considering the cost. However, there happened to be a guy there who dinged his Movens after running over a big *** pothole. He was able to get the city to pay for the damage.

A wise man once told me, "If you want to do something, do it right all the way or don't do it at all."

Replicas = rolling turd, and pple who say there is barely any visual difference should get their eyes checked. Don't have the money for the real deal? then don't get it, get something else more within your price range...coz honestly, if I saw some person rolling on fake rims I'll laugh my *** off.

I'm just mucking around I'm usually reserved and cordial in real life...well, except with CarlssonCRS coz he's my beetch hehehe, it just makes it all the more tentative and entertaining to add a pinch of sass and "thug" online.

As for women, they come and go...the car is always a keeper. Why? So you can find another woman when the current one takes off on you

Geez.....I guess I would be too embarassed to roll around in here with Ace Alloy Brabus replicas. You guys are definately the High Rollers.

With the $3500 I save, I can put that towards the Rolex Yahctmaster I always wanted, or that patio cover I need for my courtyard, or granite countertops for my kitchen. I could find many things to do with the money I save.

As for stregnth, aren't they similar if they meet JWL and VIA standards? I have never seen Movens in person, but I have seen the Ace Alloy ones at SEMA. Other than the obvious 1-piece construction, I think the replicas are a little shinier. Also, the ACE are heavy....something close to 30-33 lbs when I lifted them. But didn't someone say that the Brabus are heavy...or was that Carlssons??

I am seriously considering the ones from Ace Alloy.......

mbphreak: those lips look awesome. Reminds me of my Breytons.
