i passed the db test! exhaust is now somewhat legal!!
i'm sorry, i just want to share the goodnews with my fellow mbworlders! my exhaust just passed the BAR sound level test! i barely made it too; but it's so worth it knowing that i have the certification that my exhaust is complying with the db law! under 95db FTW! thanks sports coupe; i put on the AR25 resonator with great success!

congrats man...i knew you can do it. i guess that second reasonator really helps. i always like the stuffing it to the cops. Especially when they try to pull you over for gay crap, because they think your young and dumb and won't fight the ticket.

update:
i found out what my DB reading was. can anyone take a guess?
it was 94.5 db's. i passed it with .5 dbs to spare, LOL. what a good day. now i just gotta find a front plate bracket, zip tie that isht on and get it written off by the police.

police around my area are pretty cool about front plates. if you have a good looking, very clean car (not a ricer or a POS) they don't bother you about a front plate. but the first ricer or beater/junk car they see w/o a front plate- you better believe you are getting pulled over. they are really cool about window tint too. beaters and ricers get tint tickets- but very few of the other cars.

Forgot to tell you- the roof spoiler arrived. The hole is a little off- most likely due to different placement of our antennas. I already covered the hole with bondo and sanded it smooth. I can't decide if I am going to take the antenna off my car or if I am going to re-drill the hole in the correct place. As soon as my rear spoiler arrives- I will go to the paint shop and order some paint, so I can get to painting
