My car accident

Secondly, I suppose it was also my fault that the driver didn't have insurance either, right? And the registered owner doesn't have insurance either, so that's my fault as well?
These are rhetorical questions, don't bother responding.

dude, seriously? what is wrong with you? do you have any compassion? you're saying she got into an accident just because she's a woman?
in addition to being one of the most rude, crass, ***-backwards, insensitive, appalling and inappropriate comments I've seen, it was patently offensive--sexism will not be tolerated on this board.

Here's a couple of pictures. The frame was bent so that was their reason for totaling it.

On a happier note, we bought a replacement MB over the weekend. An 07' C230. It's red with black interior. It has navigation and only 15k miles on it. It's really pretty - too bad I've haven't been able to drive it yet, but my husband and my entire family said it drives really well LOL.
I'll post pictures of it as soon as I get back home - I'm staying at my parents house 3 to 4 nights out of the week (they're closer to my work, my dad has been driving me)

Thanks Temjin. The car was terrific - it really did do it's job and I am so grateful. I'm SO glad that I was in this car and not the Solstice GXP I had before it - who knows what the outcome would have been if that were the case...

Sorry to hear of your accident, but also so happy to hear that you'll still be around the forum. The W203 attrition rate lately is saddening. Best Wishes on a fast recovery!

I was told through our insurance company that since the frame was bent and the estimated damages were 18k that they consider that a total loss.
Glad that your car is ok!

Wendy, sorry to hear about your accident. Best wishes to get better. FWIW, I had Mercury auto insurance for 8 years, and they were great, no issues.
