since you're in chino hills, the closest one to you that i know of that was good is the one at the Mobil station where the end of the 210 used to be, you know, where foothill intersects baseline.

muhahaha...NO.

HOI doesn't dry the car that well. Actually the best one that i've been to it's right on Diamond Bar blvd near 57 exit. It's right next to the 76 gas station, but they are more expensive than the other. Their wax job still sucks though.

Personally I would never take my car to a carwash again. I've been handwashing since I got my black c320. Why? Swirl marks. Penske really did a number on my car when I took it in for a complimentary wash.

But, swirls can only be seen under certain lighting (florescent or under direct sunlight). Most people I know laugh at me for being so **** hehe...

Maybe next time I'll get silver. Black is such a high maintenance color.

Does HOI always give a free carwash if you bring your car in or only during service intervals?

I bought my car from HOI and would be nice to get a free wash now and then.

Silver is the way to go, very easy to maintain.

HOI, does give complimentary car washes, just ask for one.

If you guys live in the San Fernando Valley I highly recomend the Great American car wash in Sepulveda, it is like 20 bucks for the hand wash but they do a freakin awesome job. If on a budget I also highly recomend this 100% genuine hand was on Van Nuys and San Fernando that washes the car completly by hand, no macines etc.much like washing it at home and they use chamoise to dry the car. After they wash the car they put armorall on the tires and all this for only 7 DOLLARS! If you want leather cleaner it is 5 bucks more.
And they leave the rims really clean.

Wow.. I can get a car wash even without service? I guess that means I'll be taking my car in every Friday since it's so close to my house!

yep, you sure can if you live close enough. I live about 20 mins away from HOI, so i only take it in about once a month just for the car wash.

FrankW, you have a black MB. Does it bother you when you look at your car under the sunlight or flourescent light and see a ton of swirls introduced by complimentary car washes? It bothers the heck out of me... so much so that I had to polish it out.

I'm okay with it. I know when I ordered the car black it will have swirl marks. Under the sunlight the swirls really shows, but under flourescent light it's not as bad. I just waxed it couple days ago, so it's not that bad. This is the third time i waxed the car since April.
