Not sure.

Since you're in Socal, there's a place out here in koreatown called Pro Dent Away. Its on Olympic/Western. Here's the number 323-731-5100. Not sure if your familiar with the area but i'm planning to get rid of two small dents from my car. You might need to show up to get a real quote though. Hope this helps

Some charge by the ding or the panel. It could be $50 to $100 per ding.
Usually $150 per panel.

My guy charges about $40/ding, multiple dings nearby are discounted, so a 2-3 in the same area maybe $60 or so. It's tough finding them, many go in and out of business with the tide. I would not pay more than $60-70/ding, it takes them only 10 minutes to do and paying them $100-150 like some want is ridiculous for the amount of time spent.

Don't know about the specifics on a hood but what they usually do if there's something in the way is drill a hole so they can get their tool in there.

Are you all happy with the results? Is the repair 100%, or do you still notice where it was a little. I recently got dinged on my rear quarter panel , so I'll be looking into having this done.
