i figured it out. the blue piece where the red arrow is pointing at is hitting the metal piece in the middle of the housing. the metal piece that reflects the light if u kinda dont know what i'm refering to. some how it hits it or some how nearly touching it and the blue piece has problems igniting the bulb. like its grounded. and that was the buzzing noise i was hearing. is there any way i could fix the problem. or should i just return them? do they make the bulbs any shorter?

some bulbs are a bit shorter than others but most of the time they're about the same length. I take it you're using these for your low beams. You should try CAREFULLY putting a bit of electrical tape to cover up the exposed metal piece.

There's another guy around here that did a retro on his w203 with the reflectors but he didn't seem to have any problems. It's probably the difference of millimeters though.

I never had that problem with my HIDs.. Make sure the bulb doesnt brake because theres gonna be shorts.. that melt you housing. It happened to me, be very carefull and i dont think you need error cancelors. I dont have those and it shows no problem with my HIDs

I got the HID's for my low's and fog's from James also and had them installed yesterday. Albert at TWS did it for me. I watched him install and everything was plug and play with the error cancelers. Low beams were quick and eveything fit in perfect. So far no flickering or error messages. did you get the 35w or 55w? i got both 55w, are the bulbs different sizes? Anyways hope you get that hooked up, its pretty damn bright..

i thought that, but wasn't 100% sure, when i asked James he wasn't sure either. To be on the safe side i ordered them.... it wont hurt anything with them installed will it?

I dunno if you guys frequent the other forums, but I found:

It doesnt make sense to buy a 35 dollar error canceller when you can make your own under 15 bux.
