Aren't the LI HP LE DUAL used for oversize vehicles such as Motor-homes?

Or for the ultra paranoid that wants absolute coverage. Technically each of the laser diodes is polarized 90 degrees from each other. So if there is some sort of optical abberation as a result of humidity or heat deformation of air (the wavy mirages you see on a hot road) that cause the laser beam to flatten, the other diode can hit it. Again, it's about dialing it up to 11 - just as I could listen to a single speaker am/fm radio in my car, but I opted for the HK Multimedia setup and use my iPod. Another person may not think that enough and replace the whole car system with one-off speakers.

They seem to be very legal there. You guys, in fact, get a lot of great laws on your side there. Wish the misus would be up to a move myself!

Alex - check your state's legislative web site for specifics. I've found the GOL one to be accurate for me - in fact it even quotes the State of IL statute. Thankfully it's a fixit type ticket.

Mav - NOT AT ALL. The Passport and V1 are radar detectors. This is a jammer. It disables the gun the officer uses to allow you to slow down to a legal speed. Plain and simple - they click, click, click, nothing reads out as if your car wasn't on the road. Very different than a radar detector.

As for over a grand for a radar detector - people routinely pay close to two grand if they get the 9500 or K1 installed. It's about what your peace of mind is worth to YOU, no one else can make that call.

hey - quit trolling and stop being an a$$.

When people talk about 9500's in the context of laser jammers they talk about 9500's that can ACTUALLY JAM LASER.

https://www.escortradar.com/store/passport-9500ci.html

$1599 - PLUS INSTALLATION.

Get your facts straight before trolling other people's threads please.

Reminder folks - tomorrow is the official last day of the GB. We're only a few short of the full 20 - so I may extend it. This won't affect those who already contacted me - just give the ones joining in the fray late a chance.

Please PM me right away if you are interested. Thanks!

Alrighty everyone. Thanks for the participations thus far. Last call - the GB ends tomorrow at midnight.

I'll be taking down all these posts as per my agreement with the mods next weekend so get your orders in if you want to take advantage of this great deal or forever hold your peace.

See you all on the asphalt!
