$10 Window Trim Replacement (No More Purple!)

I did the top ones from the back of the car to the front as well..but I ran out of memory on my phone. Sorry for the crappy photos. As you can see I did not do the vertical pillars on the rear windows yet because it has been raining here in California and I think those come off by removing the door panel and I don't want to do all that work so I am just going to sand those and paint them on the car. (I'm going to tape off and news paper the car don't worry).
If enough people are interested I wouldn't mind doing a detailed DIY with pictures and descriptions. To take the actual window trim is a task that takes about 15minutes for all of them. (except for rear window verticals of course)
After removing them I sanded them down and painted them flat black to go with the rest of theme of my car (ie. flat black wheels & grille) I wouldn't recommend however painting it any other color unless you really know what you are doing as far as clear coats and all that goes. I would just get them done professionally. But you can save a lot of money doing the labor yourself.
The top you just pry up as pictured in picture three and then you just pull it up with some force and move towards the front of the car as you lift each section up....
