C320 Coupe w/C7 & C230 sedan approx same price
This makes for an interesting choice. The MSRP of a C320 coupe with the C7 package is 28,770 and the C230 sedan MSRP is 28,710. The prices are essentially identical. I don't know that Mercedes has any other case where two different models built on the same platform sell for the same price. If these were both available when I was shopping for my car (I bought an 02 Coupe) they would have both gotten serious consideration. I'd have to drive them both to say which way I would go but it would have made the decision process very interesting.

Apparently the W209 and the W203 are derived the same platform. Maybe I should have said same classification. The C class to C class comparison would seem more direct to most customers than would a C class to CLK class comparison.

that is very close in price. for alot of people in general they are either looking for a sedan and coupe i would think. i wanted a 2 door, and had the C320C been available at the time i ordered i probably would have thought about it but would have most likely gone with the C230C in order to keep me in the price range i wanted and most importantly keep the options that were a must for me.

as for the comparison between C320 sportscoupe and C230k sedan. there is really no comparison because people want the coupe will not look at the sedan and people want the sedan will not look at the coupe.

I don't think they will be the same price if they are optioned the same. The sedan has standard leather and a few other options that would have to be added to the coupe. But if you like cloth like I do, the 320 coupe is very attractive.
