Looking To Get a New Car
I'm kind of tired with my car and I think I'm looking to get into something new this summer home from college. I'll have a budget somewhere around 17-22K. I've been looking at a 06 IS350 or a 06 G35. What would you guys get?

'04 M3. Just me, of course. Or go super-cheap, and get a Miata for a couple thousand and go to town. Those things are fun, if you're looking for a "fun" car, as opposed to a replacement for a daily driver.

if its between a is350 or g35. i say get the g35..much more aftermarket support for the vq35 then the is350 engine.
I would just save a little more and get a 335i. i seen them as low as $27k used on autotrader.

personally, i have to have manual transmission... handling can be always modified, but how do you rank: performance potential, comfort, and reliability in what you're looking for?

Performance potential is probably number one for me, then handling, and I have to have a nice interior, other than that the rest of the things I can deal with. I just want something with more get up than the C.

Between the two.. If your option is a G35 Coupe or IS350. I'd go for the G35 coupe. If it was between two sedans. I'd go for the IS. I'm basing my input on aesthetics.

I definitely want a fun car for sure, but I dont think I could ever see myself in a Miata.
I'm open to anything.

To me they are tasteful in their own world. In their world they get mad props by EVERYBODY especially the IS who is apart of a team called ILLMATIC.
But we are different type of people over here. Which is why we like different styles in cars. Which is why we like benz's. Which is why we like prestige and elegance.
My point here is if that isn't what you like then pretty much you will be low on the recognition totem-pole in that scene because to them that is what looks good. If those aren't tasteful to you I think your heart is still with the benz or maybe bmw something of that caliber.
