No offense intended drew', but right now it looks really ugly.
Maybe after some paint and some kinda' miracle fitment it might look less like one of those door stopper things that prevent pests from crawling under the doors.

That's what I was expected, no more no less. One thing you can do now, if you wanna keep it, is to smooth away the edges of the extremities. Also when installing it move it more toward the edge of the trunk, further to the rear.

I've seen that too. There is one in Burbank, CA. I think its bluish green the color. It looked pretty funny. I think that person got rear ended and the Body shop put the CLK badge looool

Already had a conversation with the bodyshop. He said this is workable. Smoothing it out and rounding off the edges isn't an issue. Also the plan is to mount it as far back as possible. I think this will look okay. Worst case, it's mounted using double sided tape. I can just rip it off if it looks tacky.

This will have to wait a couple weeks. Today I'm getting my wheels and tires mounted.

The CLK, CL, and C all use the same PN for the badge from what I've read on this forum. You just use the letters you need, and the lazier/dumber bodyshops just dont pay enough attention.

So the seller and I finally came to an agreement. I paid for return shipping and he would resend me a new part that is custom cut. I measured up the lenght I need for the W203 and i came up with 48". I asked him to send me 48.5 just to be sure and I'll have the body shop work with it.
I sent the old peice back on Monday for $8.00 so far this has cost me $33.00. I should receive the new peice by next week.
Still keeping my fingers crossed that this will come out to be something I expect it to be.

Sorry for the delay. The fit wasn't that great. Here are some pics. I still have to get it painted and mount it on.






I had to sand the sides (making them curve more) so they will fit. But it still isnt 100% fitment. Maybe like 90%.



I had to sand a lot. Almost nothing left. It's just that curve part on the sides is what killed me. They didn't make that curve.

Damn, I wanted to order that one too. I guess you cant expect to get a spoiler similar to OEM without paying over $200? I just cant justify that for a damn spoiler!

As I recall I think tangerine was selling a spoiler and roof spoiler for 160 plus shipping. If I knew my wing was going to be like this I would have got his.
