New HID's
but let us know if any fiddling around of the bulb inside the housing is necessary. from what i've been reading, getting ebay style headlight projectors as opposed to OEM will just mess with the beam and kill light output.
im interested in the pics as well... i ordered a set 2 days ago, and im kind of unsure whether to put them in if they are hazardous :S!
Install on the fogs??? i was impatient.. i did not have to remove the bumper or anything. i just relaxed and calmed down then it went in the fogs. 101% recommend these HID's cheap, made in germany, Hella Corp. and really easy to install. and to add 101% no errors or flickers whatsoever. we should have them as our official HID supplier. thats how much i think they are reliable. also shipping was lightning fast.
Goodluck guys!
P.S. Just ordered another set for my high beam!
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
just got home from a friends house. left at 12:30 it was alitttle cold. started up the car dint need to warm up the car. turned on the new HID's(this was my second time to turn them on at night) and it was flickering and i got a Low Beam, L error. after approx 3mins it went away and was no malfunction.
i guess the HID's needed to get warmed up. or my ballast mounting was bouncing/loose(bad mounting). i dont know if thats a cause. but basically it was still 100% working after a few mins.
just giving future buyers of these lights a headsup in case it happens to you so you wont panic like i did.
if any of you have any idea the cause of this or how to remedy this problem please post on it here. as much as possible i dont like to see any malfunctions.
thanks guys! good luck!
EDIT: only the left side is flickering. both fogs are ok. and right headlamp ok. Just the left. so i might have done something wrong with the left headlamp. any ideas?

The explanation is that 35w are hit or miss with these cars. Some get crazy behavior, some get errors, some get flickers, it's just hit or miss with 35w kits unless you have xenon set to present or error cancelers. I know people in this thread have been really defensive of their 35w kits that work, but as a general rule they won't work flawlessly.
The only way to prevent the stuff from happening again is the get error cancelers, have xenon set to present, or use a 55w kit. That's just the fact here. See the massive amounts of posts in the main Xenon=Present thread and you'll see this time and time again.
also ill take some of the actual clip on the installation.
EDIT: ALSO IS THIS BALLAST MOUNTING SAFE??? IM THINKING CAR WASH OR RAIN, the water might go to it?

i dont know how u guys put it in in five to ten minutes

i took some pictures but i couldnt post becasue the file size is too big.

so im going to describe it...
so there is this rubber gromet on the kit itself...did u guys just get rid of that (aka, cut it) so that the metal clip can be slid up and locked on to the HID? (look at my earlier post...it had the pic of the rubber gromet in the first pic and the metal clip in the third pic)
thanks!
