i helped a fellow MB guy this past weekend. we got stuck at the same part. patience.. thats about it... we were at that part like 30mins hahaha! Goodluck man!

little tip. you see the two screws where you twist the lock. its suppose to lock onto that. Align - Put alittle force to keep it in there - Twist - And PATIENCE.

how much force are you using to push the bulb in and twist it locked? i tried everything and couldn't get it to budge more than a tiny bit :/

can you guys with the different kits compare your color to this color chart, and say what wattage ballast you have?

I've got the 6000k @ 55w, and it looks like the 6000k, although i wanted it to look like the 5000k

Same for me with the 6000k and 35w kit looks like right between what would be for 5000k and 6000k on the pic

so much for getting 55w and having the color be more white than the 35w equivelant...i sure hope i didn't get sent 8000k bulbs on accident, i couldn't find on the bulb anywhere where it actually said the color temp.

I'm not sure what's up with your kit. My 55w 6000k is identical in color to the OEM HID in a friend's 2007 Toyota Avalon that still uses D2R reflector HID which is 4100-4300k.

ok on 2nd inspection, my HIDs are inbetween the 5000k and 6000k pics, little less blue than i first though, quite happy about that. Beam pattern is quite decent with zero adjustment...visible cutoffs, hardly any light bleed above the cutoffs, they just aren't sharp as OEM HIDs, a bit blurry, but i'm happy that i achieved those results with no tweaking.

I can't take any pics that really do the color any justice, pics make my city lights look WAY off in color, anyone here actually have city lights that perfectly match? My Polarg lights are that exact color, just a bit dimmer.

nope, can't remember when i found it. but my city lights are the exact same color, with that sort of dark purple look to it (didn't know they would be like that, i didn't get the standard blue hyper white bulb in there)
