Rims for my C240, will they Fit?

I have an 05 model and a guy I was looking at buying rims from says the rims have an offset of +42... From what I have gathered I not sure that they will fit or even look right for my car. Need help. Any suggestions. I believe I need an offset of about 30 to 33 and up to about 34 or 35...is that close?

I think 12mm should do. What kind of rims are they? What brand?

HUH...are you saying I need spacers? Yeah not doing that...I'll just find rims that fit better...if that is what you are saying!
The rims are from Elite: chrome, 18" , like a four tooth saw blade

Ya you'll need spacers. My rims are ET38 and I need 7mm Lorinser Spacers.

For sure on 42 you'll need spacers

Ya man, also keep in mind if the offset is different they you have to get different bolts as well.

On the lorinser the spacers and bolts are 119 each

$119x4 = $476 + $100 for locking bolts = $576 (keep that in mind too man)

Good luck

You are correct with your offsets.

Around ET30 will look great - a range from about ET28 to ET 37 will fit dependent on wheel design & size.

Any doubts ask FrankW - he knows his wheels backwards

This is what the dealer said.......

I measured the wheels for you. the offset is +41.275mm. they certainly should fit your c240 just fine....according to both our fitment records and another colleague of mine who's been in the business 20+ years. i double-checked w/ him after you mentioned that you didn't think they would work. as long as your car is from the factory (no post-purchase alterations), then these wheels will fit. the width of these wheels is 8.5J.

Not going to chance it because I think with a +42 offset the wheel will be way under the car and not even come close to matching up to the edge of the fender. I would think it would actually hit the suspension being that deep....Or am I off with my thinking.

They will fit but with spacers. Maybe that's what they are trying to say
